"Excited about Indian food in North Battleford as it is one of my favourites so we ordered take out Friday evening. The menu is quite extensive which is not a good sign in my book as I have noticed that really good restaurants do fewer dishes and do them well - restaurants that overextend themselves tend to be stretched a little thin. In this restaurant you can get Indian food, Italian food, burgers, pizza and a bunch of other entrees - it's just too much. The tandoori chicken was not spicy enough and it wasn't cooked long enough - it was kind of rubbery. The naan bread was good, the samosa was pretty good but the ones at Sobeys are just as good. The price tag was also a little high. I spent 70,00 for the 3 of us - if I had spent that much on Chinese food down the street we would have had lots of leftovers for lunch the next day so it is fair to say that the portions were not generous and there was no real side dishes like rice or veggies - just a little lettuce. I would like to give this restaurant another chance and try the curry so I probably will do that but our first impression was a little disappointing."
