"My girlfriend and I have visited Coriander Green before and have always enjoyed it. However, a recent visit was nothing like previous visits.We arrived for dinner and were seated promptly. The waitress asked if we were ready to order. We weren't sure what to choose because we wanted mild to very mild dishes. She said that was not a problem, and pointed out various dishes, including the curries. Great. She said they could make the curry very mild. We asked if that applied to the organic chicken curry as well, and she said that they could make it very mild. Based on her recommendation, we ordered the organic chicken curry, very mild. I ordered a lamb korma, mild. When the food came, we discovered that the curry was not "very mild". We rated it at least a medium. In fact, my dish, ordered with mild spicing, was milder than the "very mild" chicken curry. We couldn't eat the curry. We asked to speak to the manager. A woman came and apologised. She said, not a problem. She offered to remake the dish from scratch. When it came back, it was very watery and had no flavour. It was milder, but had no taste and its consistency was very thin. We had to ask again for the manager. She offered to take the item off the bill and then offered to make another dish for us. She didn't ask us if we wanted another dish. She apologised again and said "I would feel better if I could make another dish for you" that we could take home. Was this about her or about us? We just wanted to pay and go. Along with the bill, a dish was brought for us, but we just left it. We had made it clear we didn't want it because we had lost our appetite.The woman did mention that they had changed chefs about six months previously, and for that reason, were interested in our "feedback".The evening was a failure. We were extremely disappointed since we had had very good experiences in the past. It doesn't seem like the same restaurant any more and we are not likely to return."

"This restaurant is an original, as this entertainment complex has been opened and unfortunately this is the first time that we have ever eaten. it was great! we ordered tonight and were very happy with the results. the dinners come with a large part. of tasteful rice, a paprika roasted half-kartoffel, a beautiful fresh salad, pita brot (one for each person and six large pieces of meat (called a spit.) the chicken souvlaki dinner was $16.45 and the lamb was $17.95 an additional spits for $6.00 the lamb was perfectly cooked. a bit extra thrown in were their famous honey pita sticks. tasting like churros or beaver tails. they are sweetened with a beautiful end of the meal."

"A friend suggested this and are we glad he did! The food was excellent and so was the service. It's a bit hidden away on a residential street, but now that we know where it is, we will be eating there every trip to Oakville.The lamb chops are fab and I really enjoyed the traditional Greek salad with them."
