"We had lunch at Bistrot du Paradou during an early September 2017 trip and it was the best meal we had in France. Just a superb atmosphere with simply but perfectly cooked, top notch food (like Bresse chicken the best chicken there is) and friendly, impeccable staff who made us feel welcome the quintessential 2 hour French lunch on a terrace. We will drive out of our way to come here again the next time we're in France! Note for other Americans: the staff spoke excellent English, though they were kind enough to speak French with me too, despite my limited vocabulary. I don't get many opportunities to practice so this was appreciated!"

"I am still not convinced that this place is one huge French joke but for whom I am not sure. The concept is intriguing,one fixed price menu( including wine). No choice.The service and explanations as to what was going on were first rate. The cooking less so. The starter of tomato salad was very good ( but how can you fail with local tomatoes).The main course of snails , fish and veg for dipping into the aioli less so.Snails, aioli and fish were fine The veg less so. However to make up for that one of the best cheese platters you will come across.I think in the end a good meal and the many French people in the restaurant appeared to be enjoying themselves."

"Habitant à St Remy nous venons depuis un moment mais lors de notre dernière visite nous avons été déçu. Sprits extrêmement dilué, entrée : brousse à peine une cuillère à café au milieu d un océan de salade, (8€)Des plats pas forcément copieux, quand aux accompagnements... 7 pommes de terre grenailles au fond d une gamelle, 4 cubes de de légumes dans l huile en guise de ratatouille somme toute goûteuse mais bien huilée. Résultat 60€ par personnes Pas dingue....Le prix n est pas le grief mais la quantité vous l'aurez compris est dérisoire. Dommage on habite pas loin on pourrais venir souvent. Sinon le cadre bien évidement est top les serveurs super rien a redire de ce côté."
