"Went to dinner for a birthday party (6 people), not very busy. Asked where the rib-eye was, they said 10 minutes, after 25 minutes, food final came out. The meat was very fat, cold and blood red on the inside. We asked for medium. The server saw that the meat was blood red but continued to put it on our plates. We left it on our plates. The other foods were fair at best. Very over-rated. They serve the cheap meats first (chicken) and the salad bar to fill you up."

"We went thinking we were going to get items from the menu that we'd seen on line. When we got there, the menu was limited and it was explained to us the menu we saw was at the market part of the restaurant that has different hours. The food was plentiful and the atmosphere very nice. The truffles macaroni and cheese had too much truffle for my personal taste."

"Jerusalem Restaurant is a hidden jewel! I visited Peoria from Bloomington and wanted to taste a new restaurant and chose this place for the Mediterranean. I ordered a chicken-shawarma sandwich with one side of Falafel. Everything was delicious, the prices were fair, and the staff was very friendly! Next time I'm in Peoria, I'll stop!"

"The falafel and stuffed grape leaves are some of the best I've ever had. The second to last time I came here, I tried the Fatteh Special Plate with beef shawarma and it was shockingly delicious. They also have house made hot sauce that is phenomenal and you can buy by the jar I have bought it twice already. I am slowly trying everything on the menu and would be doing so much faster if I was a local. They are always so friendly and I'm happy to support such a fantastic family run business."
