"It is a lovely,room with attentive and skilled female wait staff. We both ordered the Seafood Trio entree which was excellent and beautifully presented. The flavours of the pickled cauliflower enhanced the seafood. A delightful introduction to the dining experience. For our main we both ordered the Tajima grain fed Wagyu rump with parsnip mash and baby spinach. On tasting this meal it was as though it had come from a different kitchen from the entree. Chalk cheese!. The steak was sitting atop a very large serving of an unattractive greyish/brown mush which was the parsnip mash. A small serving of baby spinach was also provided. This meal was served on a cold evening in the middle of winter and the plates came out cold. The meal rapidly lost heat, but it never had any flavour. The steak, though cooked to our liking, had no taste and the parsnip mash was also flavourless and perhaps a third of what they put on the plate would have been more presentable and adequate. There is no salt/pepper provided and so we asked the male kitchen hand for some. He returned with two enormous salt pepper grinders. I asked for some pepper and he enthusiastically ground away with his grinder covering everything on the plate. When I then asked for a bit of salt he looked at his grinder and said Sorry, that WAS the salt! . Not impressed that he had covered my entire meal with salt due to his incompetence. An extremely disappointing and expensive evening out for us. It promised so much with the excellent entree and then went rapidly downhill from there. Never to return.."
