"General As I heard in advance, this Italian restaurant is considered one of the best if not the best in Siegburg. And I can take it forward: it was a pleasant restaurant visit with many what it is positive to mention. The restaurant is located in a little busy side street. If one approaches, a certain contradiction arises from the outside: On the one hand, the actual building is characterized by a red brick facade, which is already older. On the other hand, there is an almost winter garden-like, in any case very much glass-shaped, which looks very modern. It is the association that a connection between classical and modern is to be signaled from the outside. This connection will be reached with what is offered in the Innneren des Orts. Operation White shirts, tasteful ties, red aprons already the visual presentation of the waiters was very appealing up hold. Several waiters took care of our table, but it was always clear who the main waiter is. It was this pleasant kind of kindness that one appreciates with good Italians: close to the guest, but not intrusive. Recommendations for the appetizers and wines and references to the recommended main dishes on the various chalkboards were not missing. This was a successful operating performance overall. Food With various antipasti, shared with other guests of our round, I started. It was essentially the classics of the Italian appetizers and that in a very successful version. In particular, the very delicate Carpaccio and the Vitello Tonnato remained in memory, in which the tuna sauce was not too intense and thus very well harmonized with the tasty calf fillet. The Lachstatar was also very well fresh, somewhat rougher, but not too rough. And even the different vegetables tasted very well in either brushed or slightly fried form. As a main dish I then had very delicate, exactly correctly roasted calf steaks. I also found that there were eggplant slices that were only slightly cooked. The outer shell was even purple as with raw eggplants. An interesting, well-tasting form of this vegetables to offer and the consistency was of course much more pleasant than if, as usual, it is almost unpleasantly soft. Of the other supplements, the seedlings remained in their fresh and well seasoned preparation. A good rounding was the tasty lemon sorbet on grappa after the already abundant two first courses. A very good food, where classics of Italian cuisine were built and these were partially modern but not re-interpreted. The ambience Several interestingly designed rooms and a green courtyard offer various seating options. Everything looks modern and yet cozy. Basket chairs and bright tables shape the rooms. The red of the aprons of the waiters is reopened differently. For example, the walls are partly in this color and also the table runners are red. A large mirror, various pictures, cabinets on which various drinks stand and other accessories caused a pleasant atmosphere. Cleanliness It was overall very neat, clean, appealing. Anyone who likes to raise, but does not feed elitely is right here, but does not have to accept small prices. I felt comfortable this evening and can recommend the place of good conscience."

"We have eaten fish for pleasure in the last few days, but we have let the wind blow in Cuxhaven's nose. Now it must be a good piece of meat again, because unsaturated fatty acids, unsaturated fatty acids, the body also needs the saturated ones. Laredo falls with meat. No, not the Texas border town on the banks of the Rio Grande, but Laredo opened at the end of April 2015. So I take my wife to Wahnbachtalstraße in Siegburg. The Laredo is located a bit away from the busy road 316, the Wahnbachtalstraße on an old victorious arm. Magnificent to shield trees around the square from the road and to contribute to a pleasant overall picture of the white-painted bungalow-like building with the location of the victory. Between the building and the victory, a terrace and a beer garden offer enough space for outdoor dining. Right in front of the Laredo there is a large square to park. We're lucky to find a free parking. The restaurant is characterized by a large hall with a long window front for victory. Along the window front, guests can take place on a long bench with anthracite artificial leather in front of naked wooden tables, lined by cozy chairs that are like the bench. This table arrangement is repeated on the side facing away from the window. Two reddish walls in the middle of the room, up to the table width which projects into the room, loosen the hall in two halves. A black and white image of Market Plaza and Flores Avenue in Texas Laredo released the white wall against the window front. In the front area of the room you can push the whiskey glass onto the Siegburg Cowboy as long as you know it from saloons in western movies – at least in the carnival period. As full as the parking is, is also the salon. Here too we are lucky to get another free table. Young and old fill the hall, correspondingly high is the noise level. But this level of noise is not intended to estimate our assessment of the ambience, it is rather a sign of an obvious popularity of the restaurant. Environment and atmosphere are considered good, therefore four stars for the ambience. Service Several service ladies and gentlemen, all recognizable by uniform black T-shirts and long aprons, literally through the restaurant. We are kindly greeted by a lady who leads us to a free table. We serve the evening mainly by another lady who also appears very friendly. She is hospitable, asks several times for our satisfaction with the food and makes her job professional. The service deserves the predicate well, four stars. The food The lady who serves us mainly in the evening is fast with us to ask for our first drinks requests while we study the menu we find in a stand on the table. She writes for my wife an Acqua Morelli (three-quarter liters for 5,90 € and a Bitburger (0,3 l for 2,10 € for me). We have time to choose food. The map lists soups, salads, appetizers, burgers, Mexican, steaks, Laredo specialities of poultry, lamb, pig and beef, fish, pasta and desserts. The prices are in the context of the usual in central Rhine towns, with specialties such as U.S. beef, they are about three euros above the price level of Argentine steaks. The menu can be found on the Laredo websites related to GastroGuide. My wife and I choose everyone – U.S. Roastbeef, 250 gr. €21.90 and as a supplement – sharp hot wedges at €2.90. A small mixed salad and pepper sauce are served as standard for steak dishes. Instead of the pepper sauce, I ask for Chimichuri, the exchange does not make any problems, says our service lady. Later I get both, pepper sauce and chimichuri. I accept it, do not regret it, and we get the Chimichuri with € 1.20 as shown in the menu. Our lady has hardly tipped our order into her electronic communication to the kitchen, welcomes the kitchen with fresh baguette and homemade aioli. The Amuse-gueule meets his French name. Our palate is on use, Aioli and the fresh baguette are good. Later, our lady in the black t-shirt brings us the salads. Leaf salads, carrots, cucumber slices, tomato sauce, corn, olives – green and black – and radish can be found on our salad plates. The herbal potpourri is made with a vinegar oil herbal dress. The salad is fresh and crisp, not to expose. We do not wait much longer than the preparation period that it requires for our U.S. meat slices – given the full location a good performance of the kitchen. On a leaf (Is it a piece of banana leaf? is on my plate between a pot with chimichurri and pepper sauce a meat stretch, soothes and appetite. With my wife the plate looks the same, of course the Chimichurri Pot is missing. Roastbeef is butter soft, reminiscent of fillet and is cooked as ordered medium. It has a good roasting aroma, is juicy and leaves nothing to wish tasteful. The supposedly spicy, sharp potato columns – so spicy hot translated – are each in a closed plate. They are well tanned, crispy fried and not greasy. It is, however, with the spicy and hot something. The potato columns come to us rather than hardly spicy and hot, but can also lie on our taste, which is used for sharpness. They still taste. Pepper sauce, cream sauce with green pepper, tastes slightly sour and piquant. It surpasses my expectations tastefully and made my additional Chimichurri order superfluous due to my tendency to sharpen. Chimichurri is also picant, but no more picnic than pepper sauce. As dessert there is a Fart branca for me (2,30 € for two hundred. The Roastbeef alone deserved his five stars. If we use the supplements, salads and sauces, then the five stars are not to hold, but there are four and a half stars left. Cleanliness Nothing to complain, the toilets are clean, the dining room including tables, plates and bribes. Four stars! The value for money service and food are good at excellent in the category. Prices are not covered, appropriate for food quality. The price-performance ratio is more than good, so here also four and a half stars. Conclusion We also give four and a half stars for the overall impression. The Roastbeef, so to speak the weight of the evaluation, allows us to increase the otherwise usually good evaluation in the individual categories to more than four stars. Laredo is recommended with its American Mexican meat preparations. We like to go back."
