"Les Lavandes is the only restaurant we chose to eat in twice during our week in Vence and that's mainly because we feel the food is better than the rest! Service is a bit slow during the 7.30 to 8.30pm rush but the food is worth the wait. The Asian dishes make a nice change from the more standard menus? It's worth booking in advance as those walking past hoping to get a table were usually unlucky.recommended."

"I've never seen this before. the server offers some to taste on a small portion the seasoning of the meat, and see if it suits us. It's luxury. Not to mention the little tomato juices like aperio. for a beef tartar, with fries, for 18 euros it is rather a good value price. tartar, rather good, fries, homemade, are just excellent. Nothing to say, we asked again. the place is super well placed, very cozy, in the shade, the same is very nice. really service is impeccable, nothing to say, the 5 stars are largely justified. to advise."

"I spent 3 weeks in France this September, and I have to say that this was the best meal I had for the whole 3 weeks. I love when I stumble across a little gem like this place! The meat was perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and was so tender that it was like butter. The vegetables were beautifully arranged (presentation matters! and were anything but an afterthought- delicious. The bread, the glass of wine- wonderful. And dessert was amazing- chocolaty deliciousness with tiny bits of praline sprinkled on the plate and accompanied by tiny scoops of ice cream and whipped cream. And good service on top of all that! I can’t wait to get back here."

We had waited for the main course for about 1 hour, asked waiters when it comes, he said in 5 minutes, but in 10 minutes we asked again, he said it was a mistake in the kitchen, so we left without main... course. Everyone around the starter, main and dessert while we were waiting. Never come back"
