"Perfect Swiss National Day: 4 course menue with an appetizer for 58 Sfr. Lobstersoup, chickenfricassee then beef with gnocchi/vegetables and finally dessert. First Prosecco and then Primitivo. Just excellent food and drinks with the nice view towards Jungfraumassif."

"Great location/service/food, but unfortunately the room really was not up to standards. We stayed in the Kleiner Bär chalet, and there were no blackout curtains in the bedroom, which really disrupted our sleep. Most of all, despite a minimum temp of 7 degrees outside we could not turn on the heating because our stay was during summer. We were unlucky with the weather which meant se spent more time in the rooms, and it was just really cold inside. We ended up leaving one day early because of that and no discount was offered. Unfortunately we won't be coming back. Nearby activities: Playgorund right outside, perfect for toddlers and babies. Food drinks: Offered gluten free options."

"Went in for a drink over the weekend and didn't get served. Went to the bar first and was told by the person behind the bar that it's table service. We sat down and she served people around us but not us. Waited 15 mins but no luck. Decided to walk out. It's a shame as it looked like quite a nice place. I was going to bring a number of clients there over the next few weeks but first impressions......."

"Most of the restaurants in Wengen are hotel restaurants and, as non-guests, we like to look for restaurants that don't look too much like hotel restaurants, if you see what I mean. The Silberhorn restaurant is nicely set out, the service is good and the...food is traditional fresh Swiss fare, which usually involves cheese and potatoes in various combinations. It also has an attractive roof terrace with views across the valley. It's not a stand-out restaurant but it's certainly worth a visit and one of the better places we found in Wengen."

"We'd been in Wengen for 3 days before we found Golden India, and wished we'd found it sooner. But we made up for that by eating dinner there 3 nights in a row before we had to leave. The menu is limited, but every dish...is perfectly cooked, tastes amazing and is well presented. The service is first class. Easily the best restaurant in Wengen."
