"When it comes to Indian food, both my husband and I have really high standards; we travelled through India a couple of years ago – and pretty much ate ourselves into a food coma on a daily basis! I assume this restaurant is new because...there wasn't a lot of reviews about it on Tripadvisor, but I'm really happy we trusted our instincts and enjoyed a meal here. My husband and I kicked off our visit with two beers each) and two vegetable samosas for both), served with a delicious mint-yogurt sauce. We were served two complimentary papadums before our main meal: chicken korma butter chicken basmati rice, and a garlic naan Our final bill was The food was really tasty and the portions quite generous; I was on the brink of over-eating when I finished. Service was friendly – and also offered in English. We could pay our bill by card. My only criticism was that the food took a tad long to reach our table. There were only two other tables with customers when I ordered, but I still had to wait about minutes for the mains to arrive."

"The restaurant is on a quite corner from Moabit hustle. Came here by advice from my friend. It was really cozy and friendly place with good service on sunday despite the rush they had. Obviously the owner has some Indian roots because there were a special section for Indian food. I tried lamb sabzie which was really tasty. Prices are also very reasonable so if you are around, have a visit!"

"Been to Berlin with friends to attend a conference. Ate at different indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi restaurants. Lal Haveli was one of them. Owner was from Pakistan. Was very friendly. Food was average. This review about food could be biased as i live near Birmingham UK and...quality and choice of food available to me is virtually limitless so i am spoilt! Location and the decor is nice."
