"What a wonderful surprise !! we were hiking in the area and got hungry. Googled this place, and had a most amazing lunch. The fish was crispy on the outside, soft flavorful on the inside, just like it should be. The fries where just as good. No sign of oil or sogginess anywhere. Highly reccomended."

"Great place to get your fast food craving fix. Small but efficient little drive-thru speed establishment, with polite staff that both take your order but also handle tasks in the kitchen. Although I didn 't see any hand washing from the cash handling to the back where the food is made I didn 't let that deter me with how polite the staff was and how incredibly fast my food was even on a busy day and during one of their peaks times. Dinner time on Tuesday evening. Would definitely come here again, who wouldn 't it 's KFC come on now. 3 stars for atmosphere bc although it 's bright and clean inside, the staff make for a nice atmosphere with their moods and attitudes, the restaurant however lacks a place for customers to not only eat their food but lacks in having even a place for customers who have ordered their food to sit and wait. Should be 1 star rather but I thought that might not be fair. Also, a young girl in the back cooking the chicken had a face like a piece of wood the other day when I leaned forward and looked right at her, made eye contact, and said thank you. She just looked at me with a negative blank stare almost as if to say ugh I 'm allergic to compliments stupid haha. Face stiff like a piece of wood. Thats my only downside to this place AND the lack of any kind of place to sit"

"I love KFC and I would really like to purchases it from the upper Gage location, since it's on my way home from work. However for the last 2 years I have driven out of my way to either the upper James or Parkdale location to purchase our meals, simply because the chicken at the upper Gage location is terrible. It's usually dry and over cooked - it essentially tastes like it's been sitting on the warming rack for a day or two. When I complained to the server, they advised me to come in at specified time because it would be fresher than. Evidently they precook large amounts ahead of time, especially for the Toonie Tuesday special. It's too bad, I really wish they would improve there quality so I wouldn't have to drive so far out of my way."

"The running gear thru lighter over an hour before closing. I couldn't read the menu characters because they weren't backlit. workers who take the job were very rude and made us feel bad for that. he kept talking and interrupted. 4 combos ordered - was simple, clearly stated, and we were very polite. I have the pick-up window and the employee who did not interrupt and maintain any reason didn't even get the job right. had to wait a long time in lineup and all the others stopped just because he didn't listen first and gave us a hard time. Inadvertently, we gave wobbles that we never ordered first. good that they were not really something we ordered because there were six tiny rings. that was the snack for the trip to the house. when they order french they get a baptism. when ordering swirl rings, they receive 6 small microscopic pieces of fried swirl."
