"This place is amazing!! I had 3 fish (grilled) 3 shrimp friend) and 3 oysters (fried) Also ordered the fried green tomatoes. Way more to eat than I could eat so took much home with me. The shrimp is the best in town that I’ve tried. Anxious to try their fried livers and gizzards, too."

"My previous review was 5stars and left 4years ago Unfortunately a lot has changed!! The staff is very friendly and their intentions are in the right place but it 's clear they need support and direction. Food Quality the Mac cheese and cabbage are the ONLY (2) sides that consistently taste delicious. Cleanliness I witnessed a server place the non slip mats down then proceed to take orders with her bare hands. Another server didn 't know what the term ' À la cart ' and he became frustrated that there was no one there to assist him. (everyone is new at some point so his question was definitely NOT part of the reasoning I gave a 2star rating) I truly am saddened that after finding a small metal nail in my cornbread (very thin but 1/2in long) I will not be retuning. The cashier looked genuinely surprised and I suggested for her to spot check a few of the individually wrapped cornbreads. However due to being short staffed she threw the cornbread away and continue to process orders. The back door was open and I tried to alert the cook as well and he motioned to go talk to someone else. I sincerely did not want anyone else to possibly hurt themselves or chip a tooth with a similar experience but the team was unable to navigate this particular situation. 'Delicious ' was a local gem and I sincerely hope things turn around for them in the future."

"Great spot on Burnet for drinks and food. Burgers were great, awesome fries really crispy and delicious. Good service, decent price, we had two burgers questions and two drinks for about $65. Would definitely visit again, if you've got a hankering for a good burger this is a great spot. Two patios, clean restrooms, cool Austin artwork."

"I use to love this place since they were located on Greenville , but now this place has went down probably because of inflation. I got the 3 piece catfish basket it was $16 with tax …which was a lot for a basket that didn’t even come with a drink , no tartar sauce , bread or even pickles !! Just a fork and ketchup. Like what ?? Y’all use to be bomb but I guess things change."

"Paid $100 yesterday, waited 2 hours for them to say that they actually ran out of everything we all ordered. Owner got mad when I asked for my money back. When I finally got him on the phone to let him know the money wasn’t credited back to my card like he said it would be, he told me money wasn’t an issue and to come back and get the $100 plus keep the money that would be credited onto my card. I talked to him finally at 7:57, they closed at 8 so there was no way I could get there in 3 minutes. I went in today to call his bluff and get the money he promised me since “money didn’t mean anything to him”. He flipped the script and the 1st lie was that I should have came back even if they did close at 8 and it was 7:57 when I talked to him, then he said his wife told him not to give me my money back, then he tried to play victim and ask me if I was going to “just take $100 from his establishment”. I explained to him that what he promised me was part of his integrity and I came to get the money because he told me to. I didn’t NEED the money because I don’t look for handouts. As I was leaving, he was trying to impress some girl in his face and said, “who would marry you”. Where that came from, I have no idea but as a businessman, it wasn’t professional or cute. What passed me off most is that I was one of the 1st people that started patronizing him when he opened with the picnic tables and limited seating. We were there every single Saturday. I will NEVER spend one cent there, plus I let social media, the Better Business Bureau and the FCC all know how he treats his good paying customers. I only rated this place a 1 because I had to. I couldn’t leave anything blank."
