"DCR used to be such an awesome local gem and we’ve always made a point to go here when in town, but I was so disappointed in our recent visit. I am sympathetic to COVID’s impact and worked in the service industry- I have no problem with price increases…but tacking on a credit processing fee and a hidden 20% service charges to a group of 4 without disclosing in person or on the menu/website is unacceptable. The bar manager also felt it was appropriate to argue with our group when we questioned the fee. I’m happy to tip generously but do not appreciate a business trying to trick me into paying hidden charges. The happy hour is also essentially gone for cocktails. Our server was pleasant and the drinks are still great, but the management here took an embarrassing nose dive."
