"Great pub! many good beer and good selection of gins. a bit a problem with the kitchen today, which meant massiw reduced menu, but only one of these things! I will definitely be back to try more ales but soon!"

"We all had chips/chips and gravy as in a rush. Gravy was ok, bog standard English chippy gravy, portions were very generous, but the chips were dreadful tasteless, dry, rock hard and poorly prepared with eyes and skin. We chomped our way through them, those without the gravy desperately dipping chips in the others trays to save their teeth. So disappointed having read the reviews we were expecting crispy, fluffy, melt in the mouth chips! We normally go to Hills (Middleton), another well regarded chippy we've never been disappointed there. I don't understand all the positive reviews, look at my picture (and my wife doesn't pick the bad ones out, that's just what she couldn't eat) maybe thay had a bad day but that's a poor excuse, first and last visit for us I'm afraid."

"Been to this restaurant on several occasions but not for a few years. Greeted by friendly waitress and taken to our table. First drinks arrived promptly, food was fairly good (sea bass fillets) Unfortunately it went down hill from there. It was busy and only 2 servers on shift therefore, service was slow and second drinks took 20 minutes to arrive from ordering. During our meal the waiter arrived whilst we were mid eating using hand gestures moving our table to accommodate an additional table without actually asking us, saying thank you as he was moving it and I was actually eating from my plate. The customers sat next to us actually looked shocked as the waiter did this. The table and chairs were so close to us that the customers back was literally touching our table. It was unpleasant and uncomfortable to say the least. The waiter came back to us after 20 minutes asking if we were ok, my husband pointed out that we weren’t happy due to this additional table being placed so close to us, he replied sorry and walked away. In my 40 plus years of dining out I have never, ever had a waiter move my table as I was eating. I cannot believe we actually let this happen and continued eating despite this rude behaviour. Verona, you overcrowded your eating area without a thought for you customers, shame on you!"

"What do you want me to say? a small hiccup with the pizza. it was crushed by chance among other means of life. the restaurant was amazing. very apologetic and replaces it in record time. the appetizers, brilliant the pasta dish of the woman very tasty and finally my pizza. one of the best I had in a long time. everyone who wants a good Italian. pfeffer is the place."

"Lovely traditional pub in the lovely town of Rammy. Sam the whole team are so friendly and welcoming and really can't do enough for you, the children and even the dog! There is a great choice of beers ales, the food is all great quality and fantastic value for money there is always something happening from football, quiz nights great live music. We love this place and would highly recommend a visit!"

"Had a wonderful family evening at Rapallo. . We had Garlic bread tomato , garlic mushrooms and pate to start followed by fillet steak , risotto and a couple of pasta dishes all cooked to perfection. Could not fault it. Followed with Tiramsu , coffee and a cocktail or 2 The staff were attentive , friendly and nothing was to much trouble. We will defiantely come back x"
