"Friendly and cozy little pizza/pasta joint. Only a few tables inside for dining in as they mostly do takeaway/delivery. We were the only ones dining in and we felt totally comfortable there. The garlic and cheese focaccia was tasty and crispy and we wolfed it down in a few minutes. The pasta and risotto were well cooked, very creamy and plentiful for us. Dessert was a bit of a let down, because the tiramisu was not tiramisu at all, it was literally just cream on top of some bread and chocolate powder sprinkled on top. I'd steer away from the desserts next time but get their pasta again they do free delivery in the nearby area (including CBD too I've asked) until 11ish every night except Monday, and the minimum order is only $20. The prices on the takeaway/delivery menu are slightly cheaper than dining in too, but I wouldn't mind eating there either because it's a nice little place and the waitresses are very dedicated and enthusiastic."

"Was catching up for dinner with a friend on Lygon and we decided to try Copperwood given we'd walked past many times before and never gotten around to checking it out. I opted for the pesto gnocchi which is pretty much my go to in my pasta repertoire because it's so calorifically delicious. The serving was quite generous and very satisfying. Extremely consistent with what you will find anywhere on this street in terms of pricing, flavours and menu range. A nice dimly lit interior made for an enjoyable atmosphere and the service was pleasant. Nothing overly memorable but certainly no issues either"

"We're the people who came in last year and didn't bring the correct card so had to leave our iPhone with you and come back to pay the next day! Thanks for your understanding. We came back again this week and the food was just as good. The service was great, atmosphere was brilliant. My girlfriend is Italian and she gives it the okay too. Gnocchi Sorentina is a particular favourite of ours. While the chicken parmiggiana is delicious, I would recommend having an option on the menu to serve it with spagghetti napoli as this is a favourite. the only disappointment with our meal was that i was charged an extra $10 for an extra kids meal to have it served with spaghetti instead of the salad or vegetable. while i offered to pay a couple of extra dollars to have it with spaghetti when the waiter originally said no, i didn't expect to have to pay this much more and not receive any of the salad or vegetables. admittedly i should have raised this at the time but we had had such a nice evening with otherwise great service that we decided not to spoil the experience. we cant wait to return!"

"I had a similar experience as someone's else review I read. Where the lady at the front (most of the restaurants have hosts lining up in front attracting customers) was very persuasive and got us to sit down. We thought it should be good as there were other people eating there.May I just say that if I went to the grocery store, grabbed a box of any pasta, then some sauce, and mixed it together, it would still be MUCH better than what I had. We could hear the lady telling other passersby that it was authentic Italian cuisine. I believe Italians would beg to differ.On the way out we weren't even thanked by that lady, which should be the least we deserved."
