"As someone that grew up in Downey, I have very fond memories of eating Pina's Pizza delivered in the cute delivery trucks. It was a treat in our house and It was the best pizza! Was is the operative word... I was recently in Downey and tasted the pizza, and I was shocked because it tasted like a frozen pizza that they cooked in the oven. The dough and crust was not at all like I remembered. The crust was hard and the vegetable pizza had canned mushrooms on it. Even Dominos Pizza uses fresh mushrooms. It wasn't at all like an Italian Pizza should taste and I wonder if they changed her recipe???"

"I finally decided to give Frantones an attempt. I ordered a medium pepperoni and cheese pizza, I asked to be crunchy for the crust. You got it right and the pizza was great. It is better than the other pizza place in Florence. I'll be back."

"Service was okay. Wondered about when the server was going to serve my family the bread. The breaded mushrooms were tasty. However, as soon as the my Alfredo Parmesan egg plant came out, the taste just was not there. All I tasted was the noodles and that was it. The egg plant parm was okay. But that Alfredo sauce is not the business. I did call over the manager to help them understand that they need to fix their Alfredo sauce or else they are going to experience another issue. Just an FYI do not order the fettuccine Alfredo, save your money."

"Walked in, first time. Two people inside a guy and a woman. She welcomed us the guy saw us, said nothing. The woman took our order and she was super nice with a big smile. The food was awesome. Got two calzones, delicious."
