"Have eaten in this restaurant numerous times in the past and the food has always been ok. I had read a bad review on here from May this year and now wish I’d taken note before we visited for dinner. The positives are the restaurant has nice decor inside and the waiting staff are pleasant. Our starters arrived, bruschetta, caprese salad a focaccia and all was ok. There were four of us eating and unfortunately two mains were not up to par. My son ordered a calzone pizza which was stone cold in the middle. On notifying the staff, they cooked another (which was ok) but meant his main arrived 10 minutes after everyone else. I ordered the seafood risotto which was without a doubt the worst risotto I’ve ever had! It was a thick beige extremely salty sauce (salt being the only flavour coming through) with a few pieces of seafood, some overdone rice and small pieces of shell mixed in. Absolutely not how risotto should be (not even sure how you’d even begin to make such awful slop). Needless to say I picked out the seafood and left the rest. The best part of the dish was the fresh prawns on top but unfortunately they were pushed right in to the thick sloppy sauce which meant peeling them was very messy and the tiny wipe provided for wiping fingers was nowhere near adequate. At the end of the meal the waiter did offer to bring me another dish but I declined. We did not stay for desert. We were charged full price for the meals and no apology was given. Should have and could have been handled far better. Very unimpressed and disappointed this evening. Will not be going back."
