"Although the restaurant was not busy, the service was quite slow to begin, but said that the lady who served us was good and obligated. I ordered the children's menu for my granddaughter, but that wasn't as good as some pizza restaurants. Half pizza and some ice cream with a small raw vegetable and garlic bread as a nibble 'Start'. The menu was also confusing. On the side panel of the children there were a list of drinks, but these were not included in the price, but cost extra. I ordered the half-sized adult part of spaghetti that came with a side salad. No suits and the part was very small, more like a child's share. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either."

"First visit for me and only had time for a couple of pints. Inside it is a mix of new and old, with the nooks and crannies of an old building with the fittings and fixtures of the new. Had a chat with the landlord (I assumed) who was very knowledgeable about the products he sold. I did not have time to eat there, but would not hesitate to do so. Overall impression is a well run pub, fighting like most pubs have to these days."
