"Our experience here was all positive and I would have been happy to go the stars except for a couple of things. The inside is down steps and unfortunately, with it having been raining, I was in considerable pain and that left us having to sit outside. At least the seats were reasonably comfy. The food and coffee we ordered were what we would consider above average and we really enjoyed it. Obviously, when it came to toilet time, I was concerned, but they have an arrangement with the bar doors down which was a big help. We would recommend stopping here if you are in the vicinity, it is a nice place."

"Got to be the best pizza in Scotland. Real arancini too. The savory pastries are to die for, if only Italian's made Cornish pasties! Great coffee. The Bananarama breakfast bagel is a revelation. We had an Italian and a Lebanese meal box. A steal at £15 for 3 courses and leftovers. Really good food made by a professional chef with a great flair."

"Last time I visited with my wife, in the afternoon, for coffee, we were advised, by staff that they had run out of coffee and only had instant. We chose to leave after this revelation. Today I had some time to kill and decided to have a drink. I went into the public bar where a young female member of staff was deeply engrossed in her phone and didn 't even acknowledge my entry. Thankfully there was a pleasant young man serving who made me feel welcome. I was the only person in the bar. I decided to have a Spiced Rum and ginger ale. He offered a selection of rums and I made my choice. I asked him to ensure that I had ginger ale and not ginger bee. He agreed that there was a big difference between them. So far so good. He poured the rum, using a measure right in front of me. I pointed out to him that he had served a very short measure. This was ignored while he opened a bottle of mixer and placed it in front of me. I pointed out that he had given me ginger beer. His response was that they did not have ginger ale. I advised that as he couldn 't give me what I had ordered, I would leave it. His next question was the standard cash or card . At this point I thought it best to leave."

"This is a wee gem of a place, I have eaten here several times and each time the meal has been outstanding, the staff are all very efficient and very polite with nothing being a problem for them. Their vegetarian selection is wonderful and not just your typical Mac n cheese . I look forward to visiting again in the near future, maybe a wee place but a lot of restaurants should take some lessons from this team, thank you"
