"Came into Newcastle looking for a cafe who could cater for my hubby's and my diets.. We found Black Sheep Darby! Hats off to the chef. I had the Wagu Cheese Burger... OMG so juicy and hubby's breaky was the best he's had on Darby St!! Rhianna was amazing, very attentive and couldn't do enough for us.. And to whom made the flat white coffee.. That's how you make one! Coffee beans not burnt.. Deliciously Creamy and smooth, the way a coffee should be. Amazing all around, Thanks guys! Can't wait to come back."

"We had a late Thursday lunch here. We'd seen pics of the wonderful looking food thought it was worth a try. First issue: plastic tablecloths. If you're going to charge that much, either have them bare or with linen. Second issue: dirty side plates, cuttlery glassware, there was still lipstick on the wine glass. Overall the food was okay, presented better than it tasted. The staff were friendly, although a little slow considering there were only 4 tables of customers. The food was well timed, but personal opinion you shouldn't put lots of oil, salt pepper on salad. We were underwhelmed by Cielo Italiano. A few negatives, but not bad enough to say we wouldn't go back, just not great."

"This restaurant is attached to the Crown Plaza so was very convenient. The range on offer for breakfast was adequate. The made to order omelettes were delicious as were the mini choc chip muffins!!"

"We were passing through Newcastle and stopped to ask if we could eat pizza. We know that this place, being small, works only by reservation, but with great kindness, they made us sit, asking us only to excuse them, because at the latest after an hour, we would have had to leave the table free, because it was booked. The restaurant is really tiny, but clean and well organized. The pizza was good, but we are curious to taste other dishes that we have seen prepared in the restaurant's kitchen. We will be back without a doubt, but this time we will book the table, so we can enjoy some other dish on the menu."
