"Yesterday 3rd November 2023 , I came to Frankie and Benny’s with my best friend for her birthday meal. We had the pleasure to be served by Ben, a waiter who was very polite and kind. First of all, our drinks 10/10 for quality and garnish ! A fellow waitress understands the importance and loves the attention to detail Our mains Ben upsold on our mains and ensured to check back to make sure we were satisfied with our meals Desserts Again, Ben was able to tempt us to have a dessert each, in which he was very catering to my friend requesting cold custard on her apple crumble Delivery Without asking, Ben noticed the occasion with the big balloon next to us and brought out the apple crumble with a candle on and sung happy birthday ! Although a surprise, she loved it and appreciated the effort that went into this : Amazing quality service from Ben ! Would 100% return and recommend What an amazing asset to the team Ben is for this restaurant. Pay rise needed ! "We regularly visit the little rose tea room. There is always a warm welcome, the staff are so friendly and chatty. They have a wide range of home made cakes and the food is always top quality. No idea what they do to the toast it is amazing :"

"An eightieth birthday for eight family members. The food was excellent as always at The Miskin Arms. Service was just as you would wish and the atmosphere in the restaurant is great. The 'no-menu ' system with the food on display on a refrigerated unit is ideal in that you see it before you get it! We find that this aids choice."

"Called on chance as we were going shopping in Aberdare later, lovely older world pub, landlords choice of background music, but ever song was a good sing a long. Had to ask if they were open as we were the only ones there, we had a good chat with the landlord.,hes charming once you break through and really knowledgable, particularly on history of the valley's. Our food was fabulous.,i had sizzling steak, cooked perfectly my partner had pork chops again perfectly cooked. The chips were great, although frozen they were lovely and crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. All in all we really enjoyed our visit and are already planning to return on a Saturday evening for a meal and few drinks and a taxi home. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon"
