"Hello, dear readers. It's been a turbulent few weeks for me. I've been going through a few health-related issues, as well as some personal ones. Not going to delve into the details but this month has been especially difficult.   The only thing that keeps me going? The promising weather, my rotation of 33 new lipsticks, food (both literally and figuratively."

"Panos is located on Marine Drive near the bottom of Fraser St. Their lamb shank is very tender and flavourful. The guy that owns the restaurant is always there and servers are nice. He brings in a lot of his friends, making it feel like a real neighbourhood restaurant. Highly recommended for any occasion."

"Everything I ate here was amazing. We had the pear and walnut salad, spicy meatball pizza, porcini lasagna and short rib. Also the cocktails were dangerously boozy but my friends and I had a great visit and will be back soon!"

"Ate here twice while visiting Vancouver.  Had omelets, an egg and ham sandwich, an apple tart, and coffee.  Enjoyed everything.  The apple tart was delicious!  Wish they had free refills on the coffee."

"Hey guys! On a gorgeous Wednesday, Team Tastic was feeling adventurous. We landed at the intersection of Kingsway and Main, did a quick “Nearby” search on Urbanspoon and landed at Italia Bella Bar and Grill . Serving a variety of Western, Italian, and British food, was this worth the spontaneity or should you plan your outings more carefully on Kingsway? Read on to find out. Food:  I got a good taste of the Calamari , Turkey Dinner with Gravy , and the Eggs Benny . The Calamari came out first and boy did it look good. Sometimes calamari can come out dripping with oil at Greek restaurants but here it was light on the frying and big on the flavour. The chili sauce was an interesting spin on the usual tzatziki sauce but I’m okay with spice.  Calamari Afterwards came the Eggs Benny. Decorated with scalloped potatoes and smoked ham, this was a pretty average benny. The hollandaise sauce did its job of smothering down the runny egg but compared to say The Flying Pig , it might be best to leave the bennies for an actual brunch spot.  Eggs Benny The Turkey Dinner was a winner here . Deemed a holiday entree, the turkey was smothered in steaming gravy that wasn’t too salty. There was plenty of gravy to go around for the mashed potato and the meat was quite tender. You never know how branching out of a traditional cuisine will go but the Turkey Dinner was a great idea gone well. Now we don’t have to go all the way to Harrison Mills for a Turkey Dinner ! Turkey Dinner Features:  This is a medium sized restaurant that can hold about 60 guests. When we entered the bar area was closed but you can still order a drink from the menu. The washrooms were pretty good here; there was no liquid on the floor of the menu’s washroom which is a good sign. Inside Italia Bella Bar and Grill Service: Service was very kind here. The staff thought Team Tastic wanted its dishes one after another when we actually wanted our entrees at the same time but once we clarified they apologized and got right"

"Not bad at all. Stopped by for a late breakfast. My latte was excellent. The croque monsieur good, although I'm used to having the egg of the outside of the sandwich, not within it. Wouldn't have a problem recommending this place."

"Bosa foods is a great store. The olives in the glass display are simply amazing. If you like olives and usually buy cans/jars, you must try Bosa 's. Also a great selection of cheeses at good prices. We found smoked paprika there as well which is super tastes like bacon! A huge selection of dry/fridged pastas. Why not 5 stars? I 'm a chocoholic and I was very surprised they don 't carry gourmet Italian chocolates. Maybe in the future.. In the pics are two amazing types of olives. The Hercules are very 'meaty ' almost like portobello mushrooms, and the aftertaste is like wine. The Cergnola are very fresh and vibrant. The Cervelat salami is very different from other Cervelats I 've had Bosa 's is very smoky. All delicious. Compared to Urban Fare and Whole Foods, I think Bosa 's products are priced very fairly. Update from last trip went to get cheeses for Christmas fondue. I got the classic Swiss trio Appenzeller, Gruyere, and Emmentaler. Also grabbed some olives as usual. Along with the fruity Castelvetrano olives, I also got Picholine. Delicious. I will say that the pitted Castelvetrano were not as firm and bright tasting as the one with pits. I recommend the one with pits. Of course, had to get some cold cuts as well. Everything made an amazing table. So if you will make fondue, definitely stop by Bosa for cheese. OK, changed from 4 stars to 5 stars. I do not care if they do not have Italian gourmet chocolate now as their products are so amazing! Got some Gypsy salami nice and spicy, and Finocchiona (with fennel salami which was out of this world. I noticed that they cut the salamis different thicknesses. The Finocchiona was the thinnest but so soft and incredible flavour. Also got Schiacciate olives. They were briny, meaty, and a little spicy delicious! My best find was tinned mussels in olive oil. This is the first time in my life I have found tinned (or jarred seafood in olive oil. Usually it is industrial seed oils so I am excited to try this. By the way, they have one of the cleanest store bathrooms I have seen. Especially during covid where a lot of bathrooms have been closed, this is especially appreciated. A small amount of underground parking but free on surrounding streets. A great salami plate and salty olives with coffee and pancakes. I 'll eat Bosa for breakfast, lunch, and dinner : Daniel"

"Come here several times for lunch and normally I order the lasagna or pizzas and cappuccino here. I also tried their pistachio gelato which is quite good but small portion. I like the pizza and they have quite a bit of variety of pizza. The nice thing is they cut the pizza smaller portion so you can order variety of pizzas for lunch. Their cappuccino is pretty good also. The place is quite busy but it is a big cafe restaurant. My complaint is they don't have green tea gelato. But overall I do enjoy dine here."
