"Italienisches Ambiente, eine freundliche und nette Bedienung und gutes Essen. Was will man mehr. Wir entschieden uns für das Controfiletto. Das Fleisch und die Sauce mundete uns sehr. Dazu ein gutes Glas Amaretto. Der Abend verlief gut am Ende wurde es sehr spät. Gerne wieder einmal."

"Zufällig vor dem Musical sind wir hier gelandet und haben es nicht bereut. Wir hatten 2 piatti sportivi (Kalbsschnitzel vom Grill garniert mit Gemüse und Reis). 3 schöne Schnitzel, sehr fein gemacht. Und vorweg zu unserer Ueberraschung noch ein schöner gemischter Salat (inbegriffen). Und alles für nur Fr. 27.50. Da stimmt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Und der Service war ebenfalls perfekt, Ein sehr gelungener Auftakt zu einem Musical-Abend! Beim nächsten Event kommen wir gerne wieder!"

"My companion and I had dinner here one evening during our stay in Zurich. It seems to be a family-run place. It is one of the few restaurants we ate in (only kosher or vegetarian ones) that had table service. The menu was fairly typical of a dairy restaurant with pasta, quiches, soups, sandwiches, salads, desserts and beverages. My companion ordered vegetable soup and baked salmon, and I had the spinach quiche. The food was tasty and portions were large, The quiche had an egg baked on top of it -- very unusual, but a nice idea. My portion of spinach quiche was so large that I brought the remainder back to the hotel we were staying in, and there was enough for a main course for both of us for dinner the next day.Service was good, and prices were reasonable (for Zurich)."

"For anyone who is not from Switzerland, Zurich may appear like the most expensive city in the world — more expensive than NYC or San Francisco. Restaurants are no exception to the rule, and finding a reasonable, yet affordable venue constitutes a real challenge. Italian restaurants, in Switzerland or anywhere else, are generally a hit or miss — why would anyone pay tens of dollars for a foul pasta dish that one could cook better at home? Ristorante La Casa turned out, however, to be an agreeable surprise. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet. Guests can see the cook prepare the dishes in the center of the restaurant. The menu features a large selection of homemade pizzas and pasta dishes. So, is a single-size pizza served at La Casa worth the $22 they charge for it? Compared with equivalent restaurants in Italy, probably not, but once again, this is Zurich. That being said, the crust was thin and lightly baked, with exquisite toppings — we chose the Porcini, which is tomato-based, with ceps or porcini mushrooms and mozzarella, and the Matice, which is mozzarella-based, with spinach leaves and ricotta. The pasta dishes with equally succulent — a ravioli misto plate featuring different fillings, and linguini with a lemon-cream sauce and lax. The beverage selection is limited, albeit adequate — do not expect to find vintage wine bottles though. Last, the service was impeccable and efficient. All in all, Ristorante La Casa is a safe choice for whomever likes"

"Great place a large group wanting to share family style but also just great food! Really enjoyed the lemon cream pasta and bruschetta. Off the beaten path a bit outside of old town, our hotel recommended it and it was convenient and delicious"

"Das Sri-lankisch geführte Pasta-Restaurant bietet eine ruhige und familienfreundliche Atmosphäre. Die Einrichtung ist einfach aber absolut gepflegt, und angemessen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und ging gerne auf einige individuelle Kundenwünsche ein. Auf das Essen, mehrheitlich Pasta, mussten wir auch nicht lange warten. Die selbstgemachten Nudeln - à discrétion- schmeckten vorzüglich und mit drei verschiedenen Saucen wurde jedem sein Geschmack getroffen. Der Hauswein, ein preiswerter Primitivo, passte gut zum Menü. Selbst das Mousse au Chocolat sowie das Tiramisu waren hausgemacht und eine echte Gaumenfreude. Den Grappa gab es zum Schluss noch aufs Haus.Der Gesamtbetrag für das Essen lag deutlich unter dem Stadt-Zürcher Durchschnitt und trotzdem fehlte es an nichts.Alles in Allem: Ein gelungener Abend mit super Pasta zum fairen Preis."

"We have been here on many occasions and find the service in this family run restaurant fantastic. The owner and his son know most of the guests by name and also know already what they prefer food wise. Such a warm and lovely atmosphere. Lunchtime is wonderful here. The pizzas are the best in the Zurich area and that at a reasonable price considering this is one of the most expensive cities worldwide. Highly recommended!"
