"Good news! The buffett is opening next week. In the interim, their lunch menu is filled with affordable dishes between $10-12. The menu was redesigned to focus on the different curries or sauces for which you pick the protein. Their is also an Tandoori option. The food was filled with flavors and as always the Naan is made fresh. The service is always hospitable and their teamwork in service is impeccable."

"I've eaten here since 1996. All this time, food quality was excellent. The staff is always very friendly and efficient. The lunch buffet is varied and delicious. Yesterday they had Lobi Curry (black-eyed peas), which is my favorite food for vegetables. I had Indian friends telling me that the food is not all that authentic, but if you don't mind, it's best."

"Pleasantly surprised by this little spot inside the Pizitz Food Hall. We stopped in for a quick lunch and love Indian food, so we had to try it. The person who took our order was very pleasant and explained how to order. I got the rice bowl with fish palak and my partner ordered the Kati roll with chicken Tikka masala. We also got a couple of samosas. Everything was fresh, well prepared and delicious. Flavor was very good, though I prefer more spicy Indian fare normally. I'll ask them to add some heat next time. It's a food hall so the atmosphere isn't why you go, but we ate at the bar which was just fine. And it gave me a chance to enjoy a Hi-Wire double IPA, perfect with the food. Silver Kati is definitely worth a visit."

"My GOOGLE REVIEWS HAVE BEEN SEEN OVER 1.9 MILLION TIMES . . . . I give honest opinions about travel, hotels, restaurants hospitality. Last Saturday, a family member and I visited a relative at UAB Hospital. Thereafter our hospital visit, we visited the restaurant Sitar, Indian Food. . . . In my opinion, I didn’t like the service and the aura of being an unwelcome dining guest. Anytime I walk into a restaurant and the host and server seems unfriendly to a point of being hateful that’s a low restaurant score for me. When a restaurant is selling food the food associates should be hospitable. These people should be trained in multi-cultural interactions and service. A lot of the restaurants like Sitar lacks hospitality to Black American patrons. In essence, Black people are always curious to try different foods of other cultures. We are open to doing business with people who may literally be unwelcoming. We should not just spend money in places like Sitar. I will not return to Sitar. The aura is not for me. And, I do suggest that everyone share their own personal experiences as honestly as their experiences happened."
