"It?s been almost a year from yesterday since we visited Salo-Salo, to satisfy our craving for some Crispy Filipino dishes. First, let?s talk about safety in this time of COVID-19. The staff were wearing masks, no gloves, sanitizer bottles are provided and placed around the restaurant, the tables are arranged too close for comfort and a party of six was seated next to our table (good thing we were almost done eating). They do not offer outdoor seating. now the food. We ordered crispy pata, lechon kawali, lumpiang sariwa, and garlic rice, we had buko pandan with ube ice cream for dessert. The crispy pata had crispy skin but the meat was a little dry and was a little pricey for $16.00. The lechon kawali was perfect and is $15.00. The lumpiang sariwa was also delicious but the sauce was missing garlic and peanuts, the price is $8.00. The food came fast, service was friendly, they were understaffed and the same staff also had to take care of the takeout orders. Will I go back. Yes, it is a hit and miss with this restaurant, as we?ve eaten better food at this restaurant. I will add the link to my YouTube video of our dining experience soon."
