"Having eaten from my same regular Chinese for about ten years, I tried this Chinese during lock down when it was one of very few open and was instantly amazed at why it’d taken me so long to try. The food here is amazing and tastes so authentic. Everything I have ordered from this menu tastes better than anywhere else I have tried and the portions are huge. This is now my regular takeaway and I order food weekly on the phone for delivery. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough."

"Havent had a chinese meal for years and while I have visited this takeaway years ago and I do remember we weren't that fussed back then. Gave it another shot recently and the main issue is the chicken is just slimy. No other word for it. That's the main issue and I don't think its unique to this establishment either. I don't know how they cook it but its just very slimy. Flavors were a bit bland too so not a strong flavour but that was secondary to the slimy everything. I cant see us returning any time soon but it was nice to have a change regardless."

"First let me start by saying I have been to The Aviary numerous times. I have always had great service and food. With that being said…. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our reservation at 7:30 we had to wait about 20 minutes which is totally understandable being a Saturday night. We had drinks at the bar while we waited and I waited to pay the bill while my wife and her sister were taken to the table. When I got the table it was about 7:50. Our server did not come back to the table until 8:15. We ordered our appetizers and dinner at the same time which we never do. It’s a good thing we did. We got our appetizer (calamari) right away which was very good. Our food did not come out until around 8:45. We finished our meals and I had to find our server for our check while I was on my way to the restroom. We received the check at roughly 9:20. This was the only time our server was quick to come back to our table. I know some will say that this is no big deal, but when you see people come in after you and get quick service and eat and leave before you there is a real problem. I will not let this persuade me from not going again, but the management should be aware and hopefully keep a better eye on all of their patrons."
