"I still left the guy a tip for some reason. We used to go this place back when I traveled for work. It was great then. The server needs to learn to be more polite. We walked in and I headed straight to the bathroom. He stopped me and asked can I help you I said I looking for the bathroom. Very abruptly he said they are for customers only ? well I felt like walking out then but we didn 't. Too bad cuz when the food came it really was lacking any meat on both dishes served and a ton of onions and s$*t load of rice really went down hill. Will be my last visit there."

"The menu is amazing, so extensive it was hard to decide! We shared a feast with the always exceptional jumbo shrimp served in appetizers, soups, and the huge pad Thai entree ! Excellent attentive staff with impeccable service on a Sunday afternoon with many happy patrons; we didn't mind waiting fifteen minutes as the quality, pricing, and creative cuisine provided plenty of food to take home as well. Rice Barn is a happy destination! Vegetarian options: Many selections available along with an extensive choice of seafood options. Parking: Huge parking availability in a large shopping mall parking lot. Kid-friendliness: Lots of families with children and youth of all ages easily accommodated by staff with indoor and patio dining. "All the food here is well prepared, fresh taste. The house fried rice is light and flavorful. We’ve eaten here for a number of years and have never been disappointed. The lunch specials are generous for one person. Starting with a bowl of soup. We’ve had hot ’n sour, egg drop, a tomato veggie, veggie in broth all very good! followed by the entree and choice of either fried or steamed rice on a plate. Favorites – sauteed three ingredients, mongolian beef, prawns and snow peas, almond chicken, string beans and pork, an eggplant dish – spicy but do not remember the name – very good! or lemon chicken. Dinner is the same, a bit larger portions with a higher price tag. The Mu Shu, chowmein, egg rolls and pot stickers are all very good. The worst item we’ve had their – the coke. It’s a bit on the syrupy side, so we stick to hot tea and water. Service is excellent."
