"Came for the wolfmother but not so lucky. Ended up enjoying offshoot retreat hazy dipa...not bad at all. Paired it with an outstanding hungryman steak, medium and tasty. Nevermind the brussel sprouts. It's sour and forgettable. Ambiance is bar normal but inviting. Mr. J, The No.2 man himself, operates the area with precise diligence a nod to the speakeasy era. Patrons are well mannered, perhaps due to early hours. Good experience for me since I like my public drinking subdued as if I'm at my abode. The spirits collection is decent. Saw some midshelf Piggys, Single malts and Good Ryes and bottomshelf clear liquids. Good brew selection....+3 points for bavik pils. Price point is decent."
