"Went to Pat and Hanks with a group of people, on my suggestion, for two reasons: one, I had heard they had great fish and chips, and two, they had a Tuesday special. So...the fish was great, but I am not so sure the...fries are hand cut. They didn't taste home-made. But, the most disappointing thing was what I considered to be false advertising. IMHO, when a restaurant says for fish and chips on Tuesday's, and advertises it as a special, it implies that this dish is discounted from its normal price on Tuesdays. However, what happened is this; upon ordering the special, we were told that was TWO OUNCES of halibut...if we wanted a regular six ounce piece, it was for fish and chips, or to add coleslaw and a bun! TWO OUNCES! About the size of a thumb. A child would eat more than that. Embarrassing as we were a bunch of seniors on fixed incomes. I say totally misleading. Liked the fish but wouldn't go back."
