"The restaurant area was dressed much too dark with a waitress in dark colors, which simply appeared and gave us no time to choose. the ambiente lacked and honored a Sunday church. I loved this place, absolutely loved him. in the last few years the place has deteriorated to a “jawed mansion” degree of rhymes from a Blackpool theme park. it is badly lit with a tasteful amount of taxidermy birds on the wall. eating was ok, but the ambiente and the service added an unpleasant taste to eating."

"We had no booking, but they managed to impress us, but needed the table back in an hour. That was not a problem for us and was certainly not a problem for the staff, as the service was very fast). Food was great Stornoway Stack and French Toast) and while prices on par with most venues in the city the serving size was above average at least for the above). Will be over again, although this time can make a reservation."

"We went to Bacaro for dinner on Saturday. We asked to be sat outside as it was a nice evening and they happily accommodated us. Starters were really good, we had the bread and olive oil, the calamari especially good), the crispy parmesan with anchovies and cesar and the stuffed peppers. I liked the calamari, bread and parmesan the best. For mains, we had the tortellini with truffle and seafood stew. The tortellini were good, but a bit of a small portion for a large guy like me. The seafood was also good, but not massive either although bigger size that the tortellini. Overall very good experience, but I would definitely recommend having quite a few starters as the portion size of the mains is on the small side for my taste. Price wise, all very decently priced starters, £4-8) a bit on the pricy side for the mains £10-14) given the portion size and also wine by the glass a bit pricy too at c£8 a large 175ml) glass. Great design inside and very attentive and friendly service. A place to recommend on Roman Road. Will be back for sure."
