"Fantastic food! It has been a long time since I've eaten such amazing Indian food! I had garlic nan, popadums and walnut paneer. My cousin had an amazing chicken masala with the most beautiful sauce I've ever seen and tasted. What a fantastic place!"

"We were out for a few drinks in highgate and looking to go for a curry. Seen decent reviews for here and as it was nearby decided to try. As it was on the meercat meals 2for1 we thought that a bonus. When we arrived there were 4 people in the restaurant who left shortly afterwards. When ordering we were told we could only order traditional dishes if using meercat. Not good as we both had chosen other dishes. Doesn't make sense as the dishes were all similar prices anyway. It basically rules out 80% of the menu. It defeats the purpose of offering discounts to get people in then having unsatisfied customers as they won't return. We've tried loads of places on the meercat and when it's good we return and some of them we visit regularly as we eat out 4/5 nights a week. Needless to say we won't be returning. Pity as the food was ok even if it was lacking in atmosphere and they were rushing us bringing out mains when we hadn't even finished our poppadoms. Think they were looking to close early as it was dead."

"Planet Spice in Addington is undoubtedly one of the best of many good Indian restaurants in South East London. But our visit to this time was somewhat disappointing. The most important courses were good, but not excellent, although the desserts protruded. We had the standard menu that I missed the special regional menus that gave this restaurant its speciality. I hope they're back. Service seemed a bit slapdash at times and the metal guitar background music even at very low volume was irritating"

"The food and service was great. The staff very attentive and all the customers received a complementary drink on the house and red rose for all the ladies. There was a mistake on our bill which I pointed out to the waiter. The manager apologised and took £7 off as a guesture of good will. The meal and service was so good though that we insisted on paying the bill as it should have been and left our ususal 10% tip. This was our first visit to the restaurant but many of the diners appeared to be regulars. We will certainly be going back in the very near future."
