"After sampling beer in every brewery in Bamberg my husband concludes that the schwarz bier at the Klosterbrau is the best! The staff are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I chose Domina red wine and this too was lovely.. can't recommend this place highly enough!"

"I had visited this excellent establishment the previous week and drank fine beer and eaten excellent food in the beer garden. My second visit was equally marvellous, on this occasion I was seated inside and his marvellously restored century gasthaus."

"I staggered up the hill to St Michael's Church on a cold March morning in Bamberg, only to find the interior closed for safety reasons and everything else pretty much closed as well. Disappointed, and in need of refreshment and a convenience!, I literally stumbled...across this great little cafe nearby. It's not huge, but the interior is fresh I understand that it is newly opened and comfortable. Nicely decorated with what looked like some handmade items for children. Owner and her father very pleasant and welcoming. The menu is not vast and clearly not intended to be. The intention seems to be to concentrate on both nonalcoholic alcoholic drinks and a selection of homemade and delicious! cakes. I needed a coffee and my goodness I think that it was best coffee to date in Germany! So good I had two! I wish that my German was better as I would have loved to have chatted to the owner and found out a bit more about the place. As long as you are aware of its limitations it's just a coffee shop cafe and doesn't pretend to be anything more than that you won't be disappointed. I rate Cafezimmer as excellent and at some point I'll be back. In the interim I wish the owners all the best"

"Very good food, super nice ladies and great to sit outside! Strangely, I never noticed the restaurant before, but we are going to go there more often. Pane e Vino is one of the really good and real Italians in Bamberg. I have been there several times and have tried various appetizers, mains and desserts and everything was really delicious. Desserts are a dream, the drinks (for example Lillet) are prepared with fresh fruits, which is also not everywhere. All in all easy to recommend!"

"We chose a wedding cake of the Graupner Confectionery and would always decide. Already in the selection we were super advised, the head of the house really took a lot of time and offered numerous alternatives. The delivery was easy, the look stunning and the taste wonderful. All thumbs high for the wedding cake and the team of Graupner Konditorei!"

"We were here with a big group of people from our school. took over 2 tables and a table, all youngs, ordered the same food! ass carved, and they got it much faster than our table, where we ordered all different things. the carving was very popular, and it turned out that it was very good. our table had two different pizzas, which were large and filled with linings, well smelled and, according to the guests, well tasted. my baked kartoffel with cheese and sweet was saturating and tasty, the radler was more beer than limonade, so for a moderate drinker I like my radler more limonade. the nuddel bags, similar to ravioli, looked good, were enjoyed, but had more oil than I want. the service was friendly, the place full, and so was the waiting for service and eating somewhat impaired. tables in free were in a good position, although the chairs were not so supportive. all in all, I can recommend this for those who want to enjoy a less tourist place."
