In the kitchen of Pho Hoa in Makati, typical Asian spices fine traditional menus are prepared, The successful fusion of different dishes with fresh and occasionally daring products is highly valued by the customers - a nice example of Asian Fusion. It's precisely the freshness and lightness together with the typical spices that not only brings fine dishes to the plate, but also puts the customers into a pleasant holiday feeling temporarily.

"I like how Smoky Bastard supports local micro breweries. I tried the pale ale Procrastination by Pedro beers, and I found it to be fruity but a bit too bitter. It was alright but not completely enjoyable for me. They carry other brands as well like Katipunan brew.

konyoqueen.com"

"I enjoyed about 90% of the food I've tasted. Meats are good and the seafood choices are more interesting if they're spiced up. I enjoyed the maki and tempura but the tuna and salmon sashimi didn't look or taste as fresh as they usually are elsewhere. The pink beverage was good because of the lychee and the blue one for the lemonade.

The dine-in space is fine. Expect waiting in line during lunch and dinner. Refill time for tempura and salmon sashimi are the most challenged."

"The concept of Trufa Pasta Bar is ingenious - it offers creativity for brave millennials who are dizzy to try something new. It gives you an alternative to cooking your own food; You can mix and match over a hundred combinations of pastas, sauces, and add-ons.

Of those we've tried, I highly recommend trying Trufa (for La Salsa), Farfalle (for La Pasta), and Panceta and Gambas (for La Alegria) together. The taste and creaminess of the truffle sauce matched perfectly with the taste of their Spanish prawns and panceta. You'll be surprised how you finish the entire serving in just a few minutes! Other dishes I liked were the Huevos Estrellados and Las Fritas. Their Huevos Estrellados (french fries with ground beef and egg) tasted so good together. For me, the strong flavoring of the beef offset the neutral taste of the starch. The las fritas was simple but very addicting.

What I really liked about this place was that their pastas were all al dente (note: I don't speak of al dente by chance, it's al dente by profession). According to the owner, they use quality ingredients that they source directly from their own suppliers to ensure it's the freshest it can get. It gets the quality you deserve for the price you pay. There is also this summer special, Menu Del Dia - for only Php 350+ you get a salad, pasta and smoothie. On a stressful day at work, watch out for lunch.

I find the place very cozy and relaxed. The best way to enjoy the scorching hot weather in Manila is to have their pastas with their cold drinks (like El Sol and La Playa, which are both equally tasty) or to pair them with their affordable glasses of wine. The staff and the owner are very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely come back to this place when I am craving good noodles! ❤️"

"We went here with our team for lunch. The place is intimate, cozy and suitable for discussion.

I ordered the pumpkin soup, paella (tastes really good), the catch of the day (tastes amazing) and the picatostes (a different take on your regular churros).

Service was a little slow although there weren't many guests at the time. Quite expensive but the food is great. Perfect for casual business meetings."

"What I love about Taters is their flavored popcorn, brewed iced tea and fast service. You can mix and match 2 different flavors in 1 bag (both for Little League and Major League). Isn't that great? Depending on my mood, I like to have the savory flavor on top (barbecue/sour cream/nacho cheese) and the sweet flavors at the bottom part (butter or caramel)."

"This hidden gem serves some of the best pour over coffee I've had in a long time. It's a little bit off of the beaten path since it's located at the front of a coworking space on a side street in Salcedo, but it is definitely worth looking for. This is not a shop to visit if you are looking for espresso drinks since it's purely a brew bar, but these guys do brewed coffee very well. I've noticed that they also have loose-leaf tea options. My coffee was brewed by David who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the coffees on the menu.

The space for the coffee shop is small, good for take out or if you want to stay for only a while but the coworking space also has additional seating, fast internet, and plugins for a fee. Will definitely be back!"
