"Worst place ever since Bon Appetite took over!!! I would give it a zero if I could! I used to go all the time as I loved the service and buffet! The service was horrible, the scones were awful, and the the sandwiches were so disappointing! We asked for more scones and they gave us one that had the berries dug out or second chance scones that weren't perfect. They also boxed the scones up and I asked specifically told them only the scones instead they placed the jelly and half eaten sandwiches so they ruined the scones when we got home I was so mad! I was furious! $140 total and we had an awful time! Please don't go if here if you think it will be like it used to be! This place went from best tea room to the worst in Southern CA! So sad......"

"The place is located in the Chinese gardens of the Huntington library. Guests order at the cashier and may seat themselves in the outdoor patio near the pond or indoor seating area with intricate architecture. It is really pretty here. I ordered the shrimp spring rolls which was very good. The shrimp was juicy, plump, and plentiful! I was pleasantly surprised. I also got an order of the tapioca and taro with coconut milk which is light and refreshing for a warm day. It is pricier than other Chinese eateries in the area but it is a nice snack and rest spot during your little adventure in faux China."

"My wife and I have been coming this place frequently for Saturday lunch. Sandwiches are good but not great. Went for the last time this past weekend. They raised the price $1.00 and reduced the sandwich portions. Not worth $11.00 for 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad. We will now be going only to Hey, that 's Amore in Holly. Bigger better sandwiches for less."
