"The decor and menu are refreshingly unique in the area. Beautiful. The small intimate restaurant has a great chef and even a small balcony out back. I thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian Moussaka and green lentil soup. My wife exclaimed about the chicken souvlaki. Good choice of beer as well. Can't wait to go back."

"The burger and hotdog wasn't anything special, but it was fresh, and i honestly loved their sides more than the food itself. However, I saw lots of people having shawarma and souvlaki, which I didn't have, and I will try next time."

"I stopped here for a quick take out and was very pleased. I ordered the chicken shwarama wrap and it was a very tasty and filling portion. The place is quick,clean and pleasant and several people in line were clearly regulars attracted by the overall positive experience."

"For the past year and little more, we have been regularly ordering meals from this restaurant. The kebabs are always juicy, the lamb shank done just right and soup (barley) is yummy. Not once have we had to compromise on taste or quality and the prices are very reasonable. The food is always fresh and delicious and portions are generous. The owner and his staff are very friendly and courteous. Everything you could ask for in a persian restaurant. Thank you"

"Beautiful little joint run like a family restaurant with the speciality of Somali home BBQ. The goat's ribs here are fleshy with exactly the right amount of fat and sweetness (in contrast to the excessively clean pork or beef ribs you get from franchise restaurants)....With all grilled, exactly right, the meat is tender, but retains its tenderness and bite. At first glance, the prices could appear increased (from $14 to $19 maximum per dish), but you will see exactly and you will notice that it with somali style tea (lightly flavored with cinnamon and carnations), mango/grapefruit juice and soup ALONG with the main dish of a protein (chicken / fish / goats / beef) and a pile of rice, it is quite at least one and half. This is a very reasonable price. The staff is very relaxed and welcoming as any family joint would be. Accepts cash and credit. Parking is plentiful, though a bit tightly forward to the back. Very recommended."

"I have not tried this takeout place for quite a while, so I decided to order a takeout to see if the quality has improved.Unfortunately we were even more disappointed this time.First off all, you cannot find a takeout menu or the phone number for this location on their website. Me Va Me is now a franchise and only the four other locations are listed.We ordered after finding a number for them on Google. It is obvious now as to why the menu is not on the website. The prices have increased significantly in the last two years. The portion sizes have dwindled considerably. They still serve the same dry, burnt, barely edible chicken shish kebobs.To get an idea of how expensive they are: a take out meal for two (chicken shish kebob and beef shish kebob) 2 small cold appetizers (Humus and eggplant) and three laffas) came to over $64.00 At over $32:00 per person you expect wonderful food. Instead we got burnt chicken and soggy, greasy, overcooked vegetables.To add insult to injury, I called the order in, I was told to come in 15 minutes. I still waited another 15 minutes in the restaurant for the order to be ready.I cannot imagine ever ordering from here again."
