"How have we never seen this place before? It's around the corner, and that's a brilliant diner. At first it was the majority of our visit. Although it was busy, the staff was welcoming and super friendly! The whole staff had smiles on their faces, and even the owner went table to table and was captivating and personal. For me, customer service is just as important as the food and this staff are excellent. The food was pleasant, and I recommend the cheeky pleasure breakfast hash. OMG, yummy. Prices are super reasonable. Mainly indoor seating, but few tables outside. This is a cash or just check a business. You have an ATM inside and calculate to use $1. We will definitely come back. 9/24/21 took a quick bite before my afternoon shift. They closed at 2:00, so it wasn't so busy. I had breakfast and my husband, the Cuban. I wasn't disappointed. The staff was as pleasant and friendly as last time. 12/21. It's always a great experience. 1/30/22 Katie's kitchen tasty. Had the grilled cheese potatoes....becuase you just have to....with Rosin Toast. Hubby ordered the breakfast Burrito....it was average. He will order something else the next time....he has enjoyed other items as always the owner interacts with all customers and inviting.... our waitress was not in the mood to work today....nursing a hang over we overheard they say 2/6/22, the filled French toast with blueberries was de...lish."

"I read some good reviews about Basil's and have always wanted to try the chicken. I finally convinced my wife to accompany me there for dinner.The first sign of upcoming disappointment was the lack of people in the establishment, the next was mounds of cooked chicken just waiting on the grill.My wife ordered a three piece chicken meal with corn and macaroni cheese for the sides. I ordered the half chicken meal with Spanish rice and fresh vegetables for my sides. The main host was very friendly and explained all of the menu choices. The rest of the personnel were pleasant and accommodating.The chicken was the driest chicken that I've ever had in my life. My wife agreed. The Actual flavor of the chicken was pretty bland. It's sad that the best part of the meal was the sides. The Spanish rice was tasty with nice pieces of onion in it. The pita included was moist and fresh. The broccoli, although bland was cooked perfectly. My wife had similar thoughts about her sides.Having enjoyed rotisserie chicken at a local chain, Perhaps my wife and I were spoiled for tasty, well-seasoned, moist chicken. Unfortunately, Basil's did not live up to their hype. We will never go to Basil's again."

"Let’s start this review right.JETSJETS JETS JETSThat’s right the jets Pete’s ahhhh home of the Detroit style Buffy chickie or as you swamp Yankees call it the Buffalo chicken pizza. Well executed nice staff and the largest interior dining room I have ever seen for a jets pizza. And that’s a jets first down!The pizza was delicious as always (it’s hard to mess it up unless you make it with the wrong ingredients but some do. This place was super well run thanks for the awesome example of this Detroit style pizza."

"Very nice place to grab a bit. New menu but some of the old favs are still there. Clean and lovely environment. And a great variety of sports on the tv's. Bill does a good job hiring polite and hardworking wait staff. He even helps out serving food when it's busy."

"I brought my wife and two kids here to eat and got out for a very modest price! I myself ordered the bacon onion ring burger and it was so delicious I had to get up and order another one! They use a special house sauce that will change your life."

"My wife I just ate here tonight and it was fantastic! The service is excellent and the food was so good! The Tzatziki sauce is made in house and is very good. The meat comes right off the spit and the pita is fresh and warm. We will definitely be back! We already have other items picked off the menu to try! Plus Brandon is a fellow Michigander!"
