"On a hot day on Grouse mountain next to the Lumberjack show is a great wee restaurant with great views ,a small menu but fast service and friendly staff we settled for the pulled pork and a cool beer quite busy but plenty of tables . We watched the cyclists coming down from the Observatory and we could see the lumberjack on top of his pole a great stop for a bite to eat and refreshment"

"When I found this place I thought that I'd died and gone to heaven. I've eaten burgers in every chain possible here and around the world. If I wasn't addicted to Teen burgers it's the only burger place in N. Van. that I'd eat at. Love the thin crispy patty. Love the mind boggling choice of dressings and toppings. I load it up and love it."

"If your aim is to feed youngsters breakfast or lunch without crippling the budget, this is the place. The upholstery rips and wobbly tabletop demonstrated the restaurant has grown tired but the cheerful server had me onside. With smiles for everyone and eagerness to satisfy, she demonstrated proficiency as well. Kind of a change from those pretentious chain operations that dump their servers once they age beyond the early twenties.The menu could easily be the same one offered in the eighties. It was typical diner fare but that's OK, particularly if you like eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausages. The children enjoyed milkshakes and were happy with the limited choice. Had a nutella & salted caramel shake been offered, there would have been no takers among my group. Perhaps that explains the restaurant. It is not complicated food and it appeals to people who want uncomplicated food.The room is large and the restaurant looks over the plaza outside the City library. A bit of seating and an small water feature attracts pedestrian traffic and, while there is limited street parking, there is underground parking nearby."

"Our family of 4 (2 adults / 2 kids) went there for lunch on Sunday, September 2, 2014.a) It's expensive - our family had: 2 x 3 Chicken Tender Combos / 1 Kids Chicken Tender meal / 1 Papa Burger & Onion Rings & 1 Medium Root Beer - and the total was just over $35.00.b) That pricing was after we used coupons. BEWARE !!! If you intend to use coupons make sure you have ONE coupon PER person - as they would not let us use 1 coupon for 2 people (something every other fast food place allows).c) The food was lousy - almost no real taste.d) No refills! Yes - you get your root beer in a nice Frosty Mug but DRINK SLOWLY - you will have to pay for a refill.e) The place looked like it was out of an old 1980s B grade movie - could use some updating throughout."
