"One of a kind ramen. I am very much not a vegetarian but I do love their Veggie ramen and recommend it to anyone who visits. Broth is delicious and full of flavor without being salty. Noodle are thick and tasty too. Got two pieces of veggie char siu for free. Great place. Can’t remember if the ticket kiosk has english but look for ベジラメン. I think it’s closed on the weekend but you can go to the sister shop in Tokyo station"

"Luckily went after the lunch rush and was able to get my seated immediately. Tried the vegan tan-tan. It was better than the vegan ramen i had there before. I think it has sansho pepper in it which gave it a bit of a distinct taste."

"Wasn 't Journey located in Kabukichō and closed for a while before relocating, or was that a fever dream I had? Anyway, Ain Soph is one of the first fully vegan restaurants I learned about in Tokyo, so it holds a special place in my heart despite being expensive/mainstream. Since the prices are a bit steep, I can 't try as many options as I 'd like every time I visit. I finally got to taste their famous Heavenly Pancakes, and I loved them! Please don 't expect Japanese fluffy pancakes the lack of eggs, milk and butter gives these a scone like texture. I actually find regular Japanese pancakes to be disgustingly eggy and too heavy, so I loved these (scones are in my top 3 pastries for sure). Sad that the seasonal choice of ice cream was rum raisin, though (Iwould have loved regular soy/vanilla flavor), but the whipped cream with roasted nuts was fantastic. I hope I can get rich soon, and maybe try one of their everything dinner courses the wraps and salad parfait looked so good!!"

"All the the usual suspects are served falafel (very tasty, a bit spicy, unlike any falafel we 've had so far), hummus, baba ganoush, zaalook, vegetable couscous etc. Pretty good selection, the only things I thought were missing were a vegan tagine, and vegan dumplings/ spring rolls. They mark the vegan items as such, though in the most microscopic font I 've ever seen on a restaurant menu. Caution applies e.g. they used a commercial salad dressing on some of the lettuce that came as a side to the falafel so there 's a chance that that contained one or the other animal derived ingredient. Best to ask if you want to make absolutely certain. I 'm sure they 'll fix that for you if necessary. Service was fast and attentive. Nice guys. Quality of food was quite high I thought, although portions small. Good selection of Moroccan wines. In line with the neighborhood, this isn 't a cheap place although not outrageously priced either. Along with Moti and Bills one of the few options for vegans in the Nikotama area. A bit hard to find, in one of the little alleys behind the Takashimaya south building. Companion animals are welcome."

"I had the cheek-peas pack, asked the man on the switch whether it was vegan and he said he could make it vegan (so probably ask before they order). it was a good size, and really good! had it with the fries that were also delicious (they were keile). the people were also super friendly! fair warning – food is a tiny bit on the expensive side. updated from the previous review on 2018-08-11"

"The staff didn't speak English but they did have English menus which clearly marked what was vegan. We went at lunch time and there was only one non-vegan option of a cheese sandwich, the rest was vegan. When we sat down we were given water, then once we ordered we were given a piece of tofu which had a nice enough taste and texture to be eaten by itself. We were then given soup which was made from an onion and mushroom broth with more tofu in the soup. It was reminiscent of French onion soup. I ordered the set lunch plate which was fried tofu and vegetables, three salads and rice. My mum and dad ordered sandwiches and they were both very big and filling. There was definitely enough food to keep us feeling full, but all the food was light and healthy. The service here is slow so dont expect a quick bite to eat, but if you're looking for a relaxing meal then I'd highly recommend"

"The food was so delicious and it came so fast!!! I had the Chicken Gai Graprao Rhad Khao (picture and it was super good. The egg was a little more done than I would have liked but that’s my fault for not saying anything beforehand. Highly recommend this place. Good ambience, fast service, good food and amounts. The price for this set was around 900 yen without taxes. :"
