"I ate here on Friday evening. I was surprised that there were only a few other diners. I'm used to Wendy's being quite full. I ordered an apple pecan chicken salad, but asked the clerk to hold the chicken. (I'm a vegetarian The clerk seemed...to have no idea what I meant, so I explained in greater detail that I wanted the salad without chicken, since I don't eat meat. Her blank stare told me that we were having a failure to communicate. She finally asked another worker to help me, and he punched in the order right away. The food itself was very tasty, with the lettuce fresh and crisp. I also added a Frosty waffle cone, which signs promoted as being new to the menu. It was quite delicious. Although the restaurant was not busy at all, there were several tables with empty food and drink containers and other general waste on them. In addition, the floor needed a good sweeping."

"Great place to go for a steak. Service was excellent from the moment you step into the place until you leave. Highly recommend trying this place for a perfect night out. Had the steak and lobster and it was cooked to perfection."

"This place moved from Chinatown in Toronto and we lost touch. But my bro found them behind the Pacific Mall in Markham. The crispy Szechuan beef and the stir fried beans are the high light for me. Also the lemon chicken is the best I've had anywhere. The curry chicken was different then anywhere else but delicious. Medium sized dining room, but usually busy. Price is the same anywhere. Oh, the crab corn soup was not as good as I remember...but that is minor."

"Family of all ages arrive in hotel from all different places and need food - best place to go - the pub down the road! We stayed at the Marriott on Woodbine Avenue, and this was a 2 minute walk away. The team were really helpful and friendly.The portions are generous, and everyone enjoyed what they had, from Shepherd's Pie to the Poutine. Great beers and ciders too."

"Kitchen M 名廚坊 is located in Markham, near the intersection between Highway 7 McCowan Road. It’s a HK Style Cafe, which means it serves a large variety of asian food, from breakfast to “Har Ng Chai” to soup noodles to congee, etc.<br/ <br/ It’s definitely jam packed from morning to evening since it serves so many asian items throughout the day.<br/ <br/ In particular, I like it’s lunch and brunch menu, especially afternoon tea (Har Ng Chai), which serves from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. These special “Har Ng Chai” items include a hot beverage during this particular time period.<br/ <br/ This place is modern, clean and is spacious for a HK Style Cafe standards, that’s because its predecessor was once being used as Japanese all-you-can-eat (AYCE) but now converted as Kitchen M. I would say the staff are quite attentive and most speak good/decent English that could serve you and recommend you with good food suggestions. Almost every table has the “Korean Style” ringer, which you can press a button for service or press the button for the bill. The ringer is super helpful especially Kitchen M is such a spacious place that sometimes finding a staff around maybe an issue.<br/ <br/ I like the morning combo that serves toast, sausage omelette, ham strips on soup macaroni, plus a hot beverage, all for $5.95 before tax. That’s a great deal! Mind you, the soup macaroni is in good portion as well.<br/ <br/ Personally, I really like its pepper beef sirloin stir fry spaghetti. Good “wok air”, with hot temperature when it arrives to your table. Peppercorn beef sirloin strips are nicely marinated, you can really smell and taste the peppercorn in the beef. I also love the onions, peppers and beansprout. This is a MUST order. If you can’t eat beef, you can ask for pork chop meat instead. Same great taste, but clearly, I do prefer the peppercorn beef sirloin.<br/ <br/ Another great food item at Kitchen M is the “Chu Chow” creamy soup rice noodles that come with fish balls, fish sticks and crispy fish skins. Complete package, super tasty. Coupled with its signture chilli oil? Perfecto!<br/ <br/ Next time you are around the Markham area, be sure to visit Kitchen M. "A gem of a place witj authentic and delicious Afghani food! Nice bug place for my son to run around in and the food was quick and the cardamom tea was exceptionally delicious! You order before sitting and the serving counter is big and the people accommodating! Definitely stop by if you're craving some meats and rice!"
