"Cologne Center is overloaded with options for drinks and/or dining. Funk House sits on the corner with outside seating, while the interior is open to the fresh air. The bar tender recommended a delicious German Sauvignon Blanc, which went well with my spaghetti with pesto sauce and grilled shrimp. (Be sure to get extra oil, and salt&pepper to boost the pesto.) Still hungry, I ordered the cheese plate, and my waiter Kai suggested a Malbec from Mendoza. I would have preferred a baguette, but the accompanying bread worked with the six French cheeses.Returning the next evening (after the organ recital in the cathedral), to accompany another glass of Malbec, I had the beef goulash, which was tasty and flavorful. I got talked into dessert as Funk Haus features eistruffels. Mine was made with limoncello and was a pleasant ending for the evening."

"It’s very confusing for me to read the other reviews, maybe they changed ownership recently. First of all owners are not Italians. And that’s not a problem of course if they could cook proper Italian food. Second, food is Germanized Italian plenty of garlic on...pizza... food swimming in sauce etc. Third and worst, the waiter was so rude a couple of my friends thought of leaving before the end of dinner. NEVER AGAIN"

"Very nice operation. Delicious food. We had Dorade, was just great. Prices are fair. A little cramped. The Corona precautions, e.g. tearing the mask while serving and keeping not only on the chin, would be a little manko for the crew."

"Aufgrund einer abgesagten Party waren wir kurz entschlossen im Il Belluno, welches wir häufiger aufsuchen. Leider war der Besu h heute etwas enttäuschend. Der Service war zwar freundlich aber etwas unaufmerksam. Die leeren Gläser würden erst auf Nachfrage bemerkt und wieder aufgefüllt. Das Rinderfilet zum "Cesar Salat" war leider zu 40% zäh. Die Bedienung könnte sich das nicht erklären, da doch Angus-Rind verarbeitet wurde. Das kann ja sein, aber dann wurde es eben falsch verarbeitet. Lapidarer Kommentar:"Wir machen es nächstes Mal besser." Aber dazu müsste man ja eine zweite Chance bekommen. Nur mit solchen Bemerkungen wird das schwierig."

"We found a table in the garden that is a real joy. we even saw a corpse! eating was a disappointment, sadly. the “Salti in bocca” were not the bite-ready pieces of kalbs that they should be, but rather like a carving. the lasagne was called "traditional" but it lacked the layer structure that it should have. I doubt an Italian is in the kitchen."

"Fellini is a gift The Fellini is a gift, a pearl in today's jungle much too fast food. Here you will return to the food and stay in Massimo and his team who will live and experience hospitality. Thank you for coming! The daily menu is explored by Massimo of the composition, the wine destination and the style assurance according to the wishes of the guest and found wonderful. We were lucky yesterday to celebrate two passed exams with daughter and son-in-law. The Fellini was the perfect place! From Roastbeefcarpaccio to Rehgulasch, noodles with magnificent pesto turned over fish in salt crust to dessert varieties. Six hours of time, a bubble of oasis and culinary journey full of cosiness, cosiness and pleasure. We don't know that."

"We passed by this restaurant and it looked cosy and nice. So we decided to give it a try. No reservation and we got a lovely table by the window. Attentive service and we enjoyed our lunch. Price is reasonable. Seem many locals were dining here, I guess this restaurant must be popular in this neighbourhood. Family run business by mother and 2 sons. Recommended!"
