"Great Italian restaurant in the heart of central Marbella, less than 3 minutes walk from the beachfront. Situated at the base of the privately owned Parque Marbella complex, this place is almost a hidden gem. The main reason we even bothered to put a review of this place is the quality and authenticity of the food. The staff are great and very attentive, nice quiet relaxed atmosphere if you want to get away from the hubbub of the promenade, particularly at weekends and on Spanish holiday days. No music or televisions blaring out or sports channels on, this is your traditional classic restaurant, something that is often overlooked in the area. My good lady cooks the best spaghetti bolognese in the world and is a 'fussy eater '. The spag bol served up by Corleones was the best she 'd ever tasted. Her plate was empty, a 1st! I had the spaghetti carbonara, which was also the best I 'd ever tasted, superb. With a glass of pinot and a pint of local beer, this flying visit came to well under 30 euros (around £20 at time of writing). From an economic point of view, if you also have children to feed, there 's plenty of choice, with excellent tasting food at much better prices than the 3 minute walk to the promenade. Although regular Marbs visitors, we kick ourselves we hadn 't found this place sooner. We 'll be back!"
