"This is an excellent restaurant if you are looking for a diner type menu with the ambience of a restaurant. The menu is diverse and plentiful, the service is friendly and they easily accommodate large groups separate checks are not a problem. The food is hit and miss between good and very good to excellent, which may explain the many 4 star ratings, but I rate it 5 for all the reasons mentioned above. The Dish is a Chelsea institution."

"Decided to stop by here due to the great review from Barstool/One Bite guy. I ordered the penne a la vodka, and I got a half pie. The food was pretty good not the best I have had. I still do recommend eating here. The pizza sauce was a bit too sweet formy liking but it was a square think crispy and saucy pizza. The penne was also tasty. Was a little disappointed that they didnot offer any house/complimentary bread. but nice atmosphere quiet and intimate. 4.5 stars"

"Centrally located, beautiful decor and friendly staff. Nice wine list with a robust selection to choose from. We started with the fresh beet salad that just just delicious and we both did pasta entrees which were excellent. We finished off with the tiramisu which was the best I’ve had in a very long time. Highly recommend if you are looking for a really nice dinner experience. A"

"Walked into the restaurant and found a small, charming place. The salads and soup were very good. Then came the entree's food needed seasoning, vegetables and fish were cold, meat tough and one person had to wait an extended period of time before her dinner was served. What a disappointment can't recommend this restaurant, if I had anything to say it would be don't go!!"
