"Looking for he perfect quick lunch to match the 30 minute car park is easy in the East End of Adelaide. NANO is named after the shorthand for 'no anchovies, no olives' from their past life at Amalfi Pizzeria. I ordered the Nano-stick with eggplant parmigiana and tomato sugo - toasted. It is perfect for one or to share if you must (try to resist, because you'll want to eat it all by yourself). The bread for the focaccia is made on the premises and it has the most wonderful crunch when toasted - the cheese oozes a little, too, offering further crunchy deliciousness. Top it off with a coffee and you have the perfect Nano Ready 2 Go meal - under the awnings with the trees moving in the breeze and a few pigeons for company - just a perfect Adelaide lunch break."

"After a long journey, an enlightenment to the foot of Central Adelaide and an early start the next day this ended our South Australian adventure on a high note. the service was excellent and we were looking for well. the menu was interesting with some great dresses and excellent recommendations. eating was great all this in a cuddly restaurant bar area that had a good feeling thank you."

"The food here is good, but sadly I can't say the same for the service. The restaurant wasn't even that busy but for some reason it was just impossible for us to get service throughout the night. It took a good 30 minutes before we could get the waiter over to take our order, and our water glasses were empty the whole night because we couldn't get someone to come over to refill them.

We ordered dips to share between the three of us so we'd have something to munch on before our mains came. Unfortunately the waiter failed to advise that the dips were not really designed for sharing (despite the fact that dips are naturally a sharing dish...). The dish turned out to be two small slices of toasted bread, each topped with a different dip. We awkwardly cut the toasts up into small pieces and ended up having a bite each. I'm baffled that the restaurant thinks it's OK to charge $15 (ish, can't remember the exact price) for two pieces of bread and some spread.

I feared that my beef tartare would come at a bite-sized serve as well. Luckily it was not the case. I was actually quite impressed by the dish. It was excellent quality and the beef was extremely fresh and well seasoned. I also quite enjoyed the polenta chips and roasted carrots.

Honestly the food is good but with so many other excellent options on Waymouth Street serving up food that is just as good, if not better, I'm not sure it's a big enough incentive for me to return."

"Alfonso is amazing. I am a diagnosed coeliac and this was one of the first places I felt confident going to. They do an excellent range of gluten free food and cook pasta etc separately in water / with other utensils. My family and friends are always happy to come along because the non gluten free is also good (or so I've heard). They do gluten free bread (garlic bread), pasta and even schnitzels!"

"I haven't been back to Adelaide for a while and was hanging out for some lovely SA seafood. Seems like a lot of the old regular haunts have disappeared but this place was a great new find. It is a very big space but service was spot on, it had a great range of wines and the seafood was superb .. fresh and succulent. Our meals ranged across Prawns, Octopus and SA Whiting and all were great. The char grilled octopus was an absolute standout. The only downside ... a bit expensive."

"I have been meaning to put this review now for awhile and just had not had the time to bother to do it. But it affected me so much and I had to tell the story of my foodie experience at this restaurant. So I went to this place a couple of years ago to celebrate my graduation. I know it has been two years but till today I still have not gotten over this place. I had the lobster ravioli. After a couple of hours when I got home I immediately fell sick and had the worse diarrhoea I have had in my life. I actually fainted and took me many hours to feel slightly better. I could not believe how bad the reaction was. I was so sick. After paying about $250 for our meal, I was not only sick in my stomach but out of pocket one of the most expensive meals I have had at that time. I have not been back to that restaurant and will not be going back. It was awful."

"After hearing mixed reviews about this restaurant, I was anxious to try the food myself and I was pleasantly surprised. The service is down to earth yet professional. The food? Almost everything we ordered was simply delicious. The dish of the night for me was the Orgy of mushrooms which caught me completely by surprise given I'm a huge meat eater. I found myself using the butter sauce as a dip for all my other dishes. Could not go wrong with the charcoal wagyu steak with the greens.<br/ <br/ Finished the night of with a New York cheesecake and a macaron. Again, these were delicious. The beauty behind the macaron was that they used vanilla yoghurt for the cream so you get the cool texture running through. The only thing that didn't seem to quite fit in the menu and particularly catch my attention were the duck fat chips.<br/ <br/ Another stand out restaurant if you're willing to fork out the amount."
