"A great address to Agde! I found this restaurant by chance and what a good surprise. The service is very pleasant and fast, the restaurant is very well located without being in a far too passerby. The dish I ordered was a delight and the price is very correct. Attention, however, it is not well indicated on the map so you have to look for it."

"A great discovery. Everything was delicious, even the dessert made at the last minute was perfect. The prices are correct and the belly is not revealed empty with a feeling of getting caught for a pigeon. Bravo and good continuation. We'll return our eyes closed."

"This restaurant is right on the quay, with yachts and motorboats a few feet away, in the Old Port (le vieux port) of popular Cap d'Agde. It is in a row of several restaurants, all offering local shellfish and fish. We chose Au Soleil because it had more diners than the others on a Friday lunchtime in October not the busiest time of the year, and also because the menu of the day looked more enterprising. We were not disappointed! The starter of shellfish gratinée was excellent, the home made apple tart perfect, and the main course was good. The house wine was also very good and inexpensive. The owner and his wife were very friendly altogether a very pleasant experience."

"If you enjoy grilled shellfish try the “couteaux persillés”, the best I have had for a long time, follow this with a “côte de boeuf” for two and finish off with a “baba au rum”,a good bottle of wine and you will have had a memorable meal very nicely served by charming personnel in a delightful setting on the beach with a sea view! What more could you ask for? Not cheap but worth it."
