"Outdoor courtyard is lovely after the renovation. Ricotta honey bread is a delicious combo with the bread, just wish there was more bread to finish up the ricotta. But definitely recommend trying it! Oysters were fresh. The scampi linguine could have been a bit more flavourful. Truffle fries were slightly crispy, very nice. Had a funny mix up with the waitress who took my order, there are two menu items called the same name “porchetta” and unfortunately she thought it was the main and not the pizza as I pointed to it but she sorted it out quickly. The pork belly pizza lacked structural integrity but the pork rind went super crispy in the pizza oven."

"If you are going to offer Italian food under the name of an Italian restaurant, you need to be able to cook Italian. The gnocchi was disgusting, with chunks of tinned tomato pieces, and powdery. The lasagne floated in a pool of tomato sauce (no Italian does that), and the bolognese was bland. Very disappointing. Kid-friendliness: Not at all Parking: Insufficient Wheelchair accessibility: None"

"The service was excellent and our waiter was quite nice. The steak was cooked to perfection! Overall the quality of food was superb and it is reflected in the price of the meals. It was very convenient having such a good restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast the next day was also incredible, the selection of dishes, the presentation, and the quality was more than I could have asked for in a breakfast buffet!"

"Incredible meal and beautiful service. We were made to feel so welcome and valued. We had the plant based tasting menu and have now come back to Nelson dreaming of all the delicious things we tried. Our waiter was so knowledgeable and passionate and such an expert. Thank you Sugar Club for a very special experience"

"I love Coco’s so much, the staff are so cool, the cocktails are great and the pizzas and pasta options are EPIC. Sitting on K’rd watching the hustle and bustle go by is always entertaining too. Cool date night/dinner with friends spot. Highly recommend 10/10"

"Very impressed with my visit to The Parkhouse. Staff were all super friendly and attentive. Great ambience and really good menu selection. The meals had a slight twist to them which kept it interesting. Try the Labneh eggs served on a bed of veges and toast. The grilled haloumi complimented the dish nicely. Mushrooms Eggs Benedict wasn’t bad. Pork Schnitzel was a little on the dry side, would be better if there was more sauce/condiment with the pork. The shredder- rare beef salad and so refreshing with the pickled fennel and chimichurri. Lovely huge playground onsite so very kid friendly. Highly recommended cafe if you are in Whenuapai or anywhere around Auckland for that matter."
