"This end of Latrobe Terrace is a little quieter these days, but don't drive or walk past without considering this restaurant.We have been multiple times and the special is always delicious. Especially the home made gnocci and pappedelle pasta.Groups, kids, singles, couples, friends are all catered for.It is very good value for money."

"The French Bistrot was a good experience. The service from the staff were great and they suggested good dishes. The location is good but the restaurant is too compact and not fancy for the price charged. Value for money is not good unless you book through “The Fork” with 50% off. Prawn and Calamari with cheese Salad The prawns and calamari were cooked perfectly but the cheese sauce was too salty. The salad felt a bit old. 2/5 Grill Pork with roasted potatoes salad Pork was unevenly cooked with 50% mid rare and 50% Medium (not sure how they did that). The salad again is same old (a bit soggy). Potato’s were delicious with nicely seasoned. 2/5 Chicken pesto pasta The pasta was cooked perfectly and the pesto dressing was delicious. Chicken was unevenly cooked with some part of being soft and some were super Hard. The pasta was filled with oil. 3/5 Totally, it was a good experience."

"Came here with entertainment book, yohoo another one in the city that I can use my book )here for lunch, and been seeing really popular for this place, we made a reservation beforehand. service was good, came several times before ordering food asking if we need any drinks. Food was amazing, just ordered the main for lunch, it was more than enough. <br/>personally, love what my friend was having hot garlic calamari scallops spaghetti. i love mine too, but his one looks amazing and he said it was good too. <br/>will wanna come back soon for a dinner."

"We have eaten here twice now and both times have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. After booking online a couple of days ago we arrive and are shown to our table. The waitress hands us menus, drink list and tap water.<br>
After ordering our drinks and meals we enjoy looking at the artwork on the walls and the chefs preparing our food in the open plan kitchen. Our entrees arrive- olives and grissini , arancini balls with tomato relish and calamari with two sauces. These three dishes are delightful and team well with a glass of house sparkling. The dishes are cleared and soon after the mains are brought to our table - linguine with clams, white wine and chilli as well as the bresaola pizza with porcini mushrooms. Heaven! My linguine came with a bowl to place clam shells into as well as three slices of warm wood fired bread with which to soak up the juices from the pasta dish. Our meals arrived promptly and service was exemplary. We will return to try the sister restaurant housed in the same building- Chinese."

"Had dinner here last night and impeccable service. Attentive, friendly, polite and fast wait staff. Food unfortunately was a bit of a let down compared to service, the steaks we ordered as medium rare turned out to be very well done medium, on the verge of well done, being a thinner cut of meat I can understand maybe the chef left it cooking a bit longer than he should have? Entree of chilli prawns, couldn't taste the chilli much, everyone concluded the sourness of the tomatoes overpowered the dish and the prawns were on the mushy side. "I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was as I'd heard mixed reviews. The crab spaghetti and lasagne were both delicious. There were plenty of options for kids meals that were also nutritious. Our little one enjoyed the pasta bake. A good family restaurant."

"Pizza pizza pizza. Went there for pizza and I was pretty happy with the fare that was presented. Spicy Italian sausage with plump fiore Di latte. Great stuff. Had a cheeky salt and pepper calamari which was good without being great. Would be happy to recommend; get there!"

"Had dinner here on a Saturday night and it was ok. Even though we are Accor plus card holders and got 50% off i would be dissappointed if we had to pay full price. The Seafood was really lovely and fresh no complaints there, however the salads were a bit of a disappointment there is a good variety but just a bit bland. There is plenty to choose from in the dessert area and all very yummy. It was an enjoyable meal but certainly wouldnt be able to justify paying the full price but we are all different and like different things. Our waiter Arthur was really lovely very friendly and does his job very professionally"
