"We came here near the end of the season, so crowds were not a problem. We both had the lobster linguine, which was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive. We chatted with our waitress about Haven, the SyFy series that is filmed in Lunenburg and nearby areas. Her children had actually been extras in one of the episodes."

"Excellent meal at the beach pea! started with tuna tartare that was fresh and flavorful. continued with the housemade squid ink pasta with fresh seafood. scallops and shrimp were perfectly cooked, pasta was light and the red sauce was well balanced. merguez sausage is delicious but this pasta would have been just as good with just the seafood."

"Definitely not our best choice for lunch. The only thing that was decent was the waitress. Fish and chips were far over boiled, hard crispy and very inconspicuous, their fry chip things were hard like rocks and my husband 's burger was crushed in Mayo (er hass mayo) that 't once on the list of ingredients for this burger, or he would not have requested. We will be sure to choose another place at the next visit to Lunenburg"

"We have been going to Lunenberg for now every summer for the past 5 years and every year we have stopped here for supper (often dropping 175$ ) each time. We have noticed a steady decline in the attitude the staff has towards it's customers. We waited all year to specifically have a nice sunny day forecasted and we called a day before and requested an outdoor table. We were told this was no problem and reserved the table. When we showed up....we were informed that someone else took our table (we arrived 15 minutes BEFORE our reservation). It was a beautiful day out and we were so looking forward to our outdoor table. This was upsetting but indeed...mistakes can happen. But the general manner in which we were handled was the most upsetting aspect. We were treated as if we were the trouble makers and simply shuttled off to an inside table (not even by a window even though one was available). I had to ask to have the window seat. Then we proceeded to have a full meal from a bottle of wine, appetizers, main meal and desert...except our 10 year old daughter wanted a small scoop of ice cream from across the street. We let her walk over and get it and come back to sit with us. We thought as a courtesy we would inform our waitress that our daughter opted to do this instead of having the desert there like the rest of us. We figured that our 200$ bill their botching of our reservation that this would be no issue. NOPE. When we informed our waitress she gave us an awkward look and said "we don't like when people do that." Talk about making your customers feel like criminals. So disappointing given that the food here is actually really good."
