"My daughter and I visited Al dente Norwich before a theatre trip. I had been there before and couldn't fault it back then. However on this occasion it was very disappointing. Starting with the very expensive mocktails.... Followed by my daughter's starter full of watery liquid rather than cream. I ordered cod ravioli on a seafood sauce, sauce was pleasant but the pasta was not edible, I enjoy pasta Al dente but this was so hard it was difficult to cut with a knife, I gave up. When asked by the waitress how my food was I explained the problem, she replied , well pasta is supposed to be Al dente,I told her that this was hard and inedible. I asked for the Bill, and was surprised to see that I was expected to pay full price for the main meal. My daughter suggested that they should so least give a reduction, which they did, eight pounds, at no point did we receive an apology. As we left the restaurant we heard the waitress shout out Oh My God, we were the only people in the restaurant, it was clearly detected at us We will not be returning. I do not recommend this restaurant."
