"A colleague recommended Cafe Babbo to me and I'm glad I found it. Not being a Melbourne local I didn't know in was inside an office building but managed to find it.Service was quick and friendly without trying to be your best mate.Good coffee. Very good.The protein breakfast was very good - sweet potato, avocado, scrambled eggs and tomato on a piece of sourdough toast. Just the right amount, more would have been too much. The sweet potato was cooked well and, the eggs were scrambled nicely. The raw tomato was fridge-cold and could have been fresher, this was the only negative about my breakfast.Well priced too."

"I should start saying that we came here for Brunch, the place has an incredible selection of cheese and wine but that's not what we came for. Nice vibe and service, the place is small but comfortable and the attention was really good. The coffee was really good, as per usual I had a Long Black and it didn't disappoint. The menu doesn't have many breakfast options, it was 6 of us, each of us tried something different.Food:Pancakes - small portion good flavorsBaked eggs - under cooked, beans were ok, best sourdough I have hadCheese omelette - the best dish on the table From the specials: Eggs Florentine - nice portion and presentation, good flavors as wellHam croquette - didn't try it, looked good, they said it was awesome.In general we had a good time, the expectation was higher and it took almost 30 min (the place was not full) to bring our food. As I said before, I think the experience with cheese is what gives it a 5, unfortunately not the brunch."

"We had a great lunch here. It was initially a bit confusing working out which queue you needed to be in to get what salad or jacket potato - the signs aren't clear - but truly awesome food. I went for the pre made salads ($12 for a huge bowl) you could mix and match and they tasted awesome. Any left overs you can take away in a box - great value for money."
