"Happy to find a few vegan foods in the area of bega shopping centers! they had a lot of vegan choices of lens soup, chili, baked kartoffels, pasta with pesto, grilled vegetables and salad. eating itself was good, but simply quite simple and not too much seasoned. the personal was super friendly and disposable to explain which dishes I can eat. what I didn't like were the one-way cutlery and plastic cups that they also give them for consumption directly there."

"There was a long line and a lot of people at the tables, behind the counter was a little boy. We took only hummus (chickpeas paste) and got half of the lafa (unleavened pancake) in addition. Very expensive for a small jar. We did not like the taste of hummus and thahin, a very thin and stale lafa."

"Inexpensive, tasty vegetarian and vegan food. The set menu is an excellent value and costs 15 lei. I was pleasantly surprised that there were two options for sauce for the rice - a spicy option and a sweet option. The spicy sauce was great! The desserts were fantastic and a highlight of my visit to Timisoara. The lunch set has two options for the main course which is great - one is vegan and one is vegetarian. I especially appreciated the vegan option as I am lactose intolerant and cannot eat paneer. There was also the option of rice or buckwheat which is also wonderful. The bathroom was very clean and had hot water which is not always the case in Romania. I was very glad to find it open around the December holidays when many other restaurants were closed. I ate here twice and also got a vegan burger to go to take on the train with me. All were excellent and generous portions. The kind guy there also noticed that I wasn't able to finish my lunch set on the second day and offered me a container to take it with me which made my train trip to Bucharest much more enjoyable. I also liked the affordable freshly squeezed orange juice where the entire orange was peeled and then put into the juicer; it was excellent orange juice. On the first day I was there the tv was turned off, but I had looked briefly at the tv. I think the guy there may have been very perceptive, because the next day it was turned on and had nice info about vegetarian food, etc. I appreciate that the tv in Radha as well as in other Hare Krishna restaurants has interesting info about vegetarianism and veganism.I also want to apologize for throwing my soup dish which still had soup in it into the trash. I wasn't thinking clearly about what I was doing; I hope it didn't create a mess. The soup though was excellent both days. I especially liked the lentil soup, but I was very full and so unable to eat it all.I'm always very glad to see the Hare Krishna restaurants as I know they are places where I can inexpensively eat vegan and vegetarian food. I also like that the lunch special is all day, so that one can affordably eat there for dinner as well. I'm not certain how they decide where to open their restaurants, but Bucharest is sorely lacking in affordable vegetarian and vegan food, and it would be great if they could open a restaurant there as well. Thank you for the very pleasant memories!"
