"Weekend brunch at Al Tanour with my family was perfect. Homey, warm, relaxing and unpredictable. Just good, fresh, delicious, homemade food. We started with lentil soup and divided hummus, baba ghanouj, zaatar, and tabouli, served with warm ptas. My falafel plated #7) came with the choice of the Dip Tabouli or baba ghanouj, choice of salad Tabouli or Fattoush), and a delicious, delicate biryani that I requested as a substitute for Pita. We finished the meal with tiny cups of Turkish coffee. Al Tanour means “illuminated”. A great place to experience Lebanese cuisine and warm hospitality. We're coming back!"

"Went and saw a jazz band play tonight. What a great place! Comfy, small, amazing acoustics! Great place to watch an band! So intimate! I didn't even have a chance to look at the books. Had some tea and a brownie that was delicious! I can't wait to go back and just browse. So glad I found it!"

"Here's Corydon The Lebanese rest has a beautiful relaxed atmosphere, with decor to enchant a trip to the Mediterranean, and a wonderful, very experienced and talented chef who aims to explain the food carefully (but not excessively) and usually to be worth acquainting and charming. I called to takeout, and the helpful staff could tell me exactly what was vegan (and gluten-free, since that is a requirement for me). I ordered everything vegan and was blown away from the delicious, intense and fresh flavors. I recommend the flower roses wow! as well as the hummus (from this world, with smoked peppers), the melt in your mouth filled grape leaves and the hearty lens soup. This place is a must try!! Note: I would give it 5 stars, but Happy Cow doesn't do that for non vegan places...."

"We almost went elsewhere because there was only one vegetarian menu item. But the owner offered to make up a special order for us. We made the right choice. Red Lentil soup was hearty as expected with some unidentified spice. Mildly exotic tasting and with the supplied bread would make a meal in itself. Baba ghanoush here is more garlicky with tomato than the usual middle-eastern take. Quite delicious with the brown rice and sour cream with hot sauce. Wrapped in wheat bread, it was most filling. Again a meal by itself. As a side we ordered home made yoghurt. Very creamy and almost cheese-like in flavor. Kanafeh is a fine pastry soaked in sweet syrup and layered with mild cheese. But for the hour ir would have been perfect with a Turkish coffee. The decor is mixed artifacts of diners past over knotty wood paneling. Posters of Istanbul are matched with a corner TV playing Turkish dance videos. If all seemed to work together for a cosy meal. The owner/chef deserves credit for wanting to be sure we were happy."
